Did you get your name from the movie Harry Potter?…

Oh well, as you may know already, i’m not a big fan of this type of level. Nevertheless, i will always try to rate them fair, like all other levels.
“The Brothers Hotel” has four “rooms”, one additional room for each MP mode (CTF, Battle and Treasure Hunt), a toilet, a disco (doesn’t really make sense without a DJ and some gals :-), two shops (seems like the only item they sell are powerups, duh!), a kind of cinema or something like that, a boxing room, a swimming room, a pinball room and a “training” room.
All of those are very small and doesn’t really look beautiful in my opinion, which may have its cause in the tileset used here (“Building” by a guy called Gringo…i’m sorry but i never really heard of it or i don’t remember so i can’t tell you a lot about it, it’s not too impressing i’d say). On the other hand, the level author also didn’t really make more than he obviously needed to. There’s isn’t much layer work or variation throughout the level. Another disappointing fact is the lack of any background music.
All in all, i have to admit that i’ve seen worse hotels. Technically it’s absolutely okay and there aren’t many event placement problems i think. So if you’re a fan of this (in my opinion silly) fashion of level making, you will probably like this one a lot. Otherwise, better keep your hands off this (slighly below the average because i don’t like hotels too much personally :-)!

First, I don’t like hotels very much. They’re mostly very boring and the eyecandy is bad.
This level is one of the kinds I don’t like. The background is very boring, there is no eyecandy, the weapon placement is bad and the main navigation are the warps.
Warps are OK, but don’t overuse them. A level is good (if you ask me) if you can get through it without alot of warps. We want to control ourselves just with the arrows (or gamepad, joystick, whatever) but no Warps that lead you to the point that you need to be.
Next time no hotels? :-)
