Well… I don’t have the tileset for one of the levels, so I’ll just review the one where you race to the money room or whatever you called it.

Eyecandy – Very bad
The background isn’t set up properly, and none of the tiles are used correctly. The only promising thing is the fact that the author put a pumpkin (but only half of the pumpkin, so it doesn’t count) in a corner.
Pros – HALF a pumpkin! =O!!!!!!

Gameplay – Very bad
Apart from the fact that you’re running down one tile high tunnels and avoiding hidden belt events that force you into clumps of spikes, the gameplay is surprisingly good. However, since all you are DOING is running down one tile high tunnels and avoiding hidden belt events that force you into clumps of spikes, the gameplay officially sucks. If you touch one of these belt events, which is most definetely not your fault, you are out for the whole rest of the game. Most likely, both players are going to get stuck and they are going to close JJ2 and download Newspaz’s Treetop Hiphop race.
Pros – It’s a challenge.

Size – Very bad
Well, if you figure out the right path to take, each lap should take you a maximum of twenty seconds. Any laptime higher than that is embarassing.
Pros – Oops. I forgot the list of pros at home. Oh, well.

Download reccomendation – Yes, because it’s all ways quite comical to look at levels like this.

Gameplay: The gameplay is very bad. The level is not a real race because with that traps it can take a long time.
Eyecandy: There was something, but it was very strange and the tiles were randomly placed
Pickup placement: there was none here. Only a gold coin. So I can’t say much about it only that it sux.

Gameplay: Still very bad. No good thing about it so nothing else to say.
Eyecandy: I liked it (not). That very strange tiles on the backgrounds. At least there was a background here so that means this is better.
Pickup placement: Still no pickups only some gold coins.

Seriously, I don’t really know what this is supposed to be. It’s like a splatter of pixels on my monitor as far as the visuals go. Just repeating tiles over and over on the eighth layer… and then again on the seventh, I believe. But that hardly matters, it’s still crap.

You basically just choose which hole you have to drop down into… three times. Otherwise, you’re blown into a small chamber with stationary mace balls where you will, eventually, die.

So a few minutes and JJK’s later, I got to the end of the level, collected a flag, went to the other flag, and…

Died!! Haha, fun isn’t it?

This is a sad attempt a race level.

I think I can safely say that some on my oldest levels are better then this. The background looks horrible, like you garbed the background, and spread it while you held down the mouse button. the layer 4 is made up of about 7 tiles in the whole tileset. Layer 7-5 is the same thing as layer 8 even still using the background tiles. This is pathetic.

Gameplay
Once you warp in, you can take many paths. Most of them lead to traps and one you hit those winds are your in a trap, your out. In a way it makes in challenging. this whole thing is that it is too short and once you figure out where to go, it takes about 20 seconds. Not only that but when you do get to the end, your in a coin room with a flag. Who plays race in ctf?
