One of the most original concepts ever.
After the event Me and the others played almost until the morning.(my mother awakened already. :))

That’s about 7 hours.

My #1 choice level. :P

Orignal just doesnt explains it, really this is a must see!

for the really "die" hard cpu ya need because lower then 233 mhz it just doesn`t work "fast" =\ ive got on a p166mmx 1/2 fps

but its the most orginal level that ya can think of

Its the origional, and its still great. But go download partner also, thats fun for smaller groups and lags less ;P

Lag really is a major setback, I tried to play htis over the network with Distruct on my other P200mmx, but even on the lowest detail and stuff he was waaay too slow to do anyhting. I’d say 233mhz will still be a bit slow, a P2 233mhz is minimum requirements, If you want to run this on a proper speed I’d say P2 300mhz should be enough. The lag might be a big problem, but the design of the level is out of this world, If you have a good enough PC you have to see this, the concept and design is just awesome! The same as Assault from Unreal Tournament, I hope you enjoy :)

I think this is an annoying level. The largeness doesn’t save this level. Weapon placement is bad, and eye candy is poor. The "start.j2l" level didn’t have background at all.

Briliant idea!It is realy huge assault level,too bad the tilest is not great and eyecandy is poor.

Mmmm…Great job Syntax (whoever you are :-P), this is a very cool assualt lvl.

Assualt3 is a HUGE lvl which will take at least half an hour for anyone to complete. It’s got fairly good eyecandy and gameplay and the story is good too.

Assualt3 has also got nice lighting and sound effects which adds to its originality. It makes brilliant use of the Mez01 tileset too and is probably the best lvl made with that tileset.

Good eyecandy to keep the level playable, but that is not the focal point of the level.

EYECANDY: 2/3

Weapon and carrot placement are great! The navigation makes inventive use of triggers, and the gameplay is innovative (and ported to Jazz quite well, I must say)!

The level that pioneered Assault. Enough said.

Hm, WR, I consider that as a copy of your review on CelL’s Assault level :P

I like this. Huge, hard, and not enough eyecandy. Well, with eyecandy this would cause even more lag, but it doesn’t look great. It plays great however. Destroy crates to destroy the base is your goal, and coming with a good readme about Assault this is a very good, if not the best level for this gametype. I’d say… Play it now.

I think i either beat this is 23 min or 27 min. Well, sometimes its to irritating and to confusing, and i get frustrated, but it has god ideas, id thought youd use more of a variety in the blocks. Eyecandy is good, nice lighting events, which boosts up the mark by about 2.0 or 1.5 alreadt. Its long, has some ammo, for this type of level, not much is needed. No pu’s, but thats ok, bu\y the look and type of level this is, it doenst need any pu’s. Nice destruct blocks, although one doesnt work i think. Spring placement and sucker tube use is as well good, and i like how Syntax included a map along with the level, so that you’ll know where to go, and wont backtrack often. The music choice is ok, since its calm, because on this type of level that has a timer when u host it in JDC, u wont have time to listen to music. This is a fun and good assault level for everyone and i reccomend you to download this.

Man. this is an irritating level.
Eyecandy very poor.
Genorators are too fast.
This level is very difficult with all the trigger crates, two words: BIG MAZE.
If you like maze levels download it.
If you hate maze levels, then it is better not to download…

Though it´s not bad at all (it´s nice!!!), I´ve seen better assault levels.

I like the gameplay of it, it is really good, but I don`t like the tileset..
