Theres barely ever a server on now. You guys playing could decide weather JJ2 is dead, or still alive and well. At the rate your going, it will be off the shelves ANYWHERE! Maybe even in ANTIQUE SHOPS! Thats what this is becoming. A failed game. A flop. If you don't start playing, sooner or later, you'll probably never hear anything of JJ2 again. and you won't even get a crappy GBA game that sucks. You'll get squat. I play every day, it's just that I don't have any good levels. Besides, mah spoon is too big. And Aeiou barely hosts his hotel.

And YCSIOS (I'm the first one to arcmnymize it! YaY!) is long and stupid if you play as Jazz because you can't wallhack.

And the only tests I see are WindMiester3, Orverlord's PTD, and variuos n00b tests using the Top Secret tileset.

I actually play all the time. Most of the people on this board have been playing for like 4 or more years, and they're just plain bored of the game. The game seems to be less played all-around ever since BeckY and Defost stopped playing (they were on for about 14 hours a day at least).

Maybe when the JDC season comes around and no one plays in it, I'll agree that JJ2 is soon coming to an end. It's probably just a slow time for the time being. I blame school and school-related activities (at least that's my excuse). People are, however, still active making levels even if they all aren't that great. It's still something, and it's a clear indication that the community isn't going to die overnight.

And RoW, saying that you don't have any good levels isn't much of an excuse. There's J2O, and you can list downloads according to their ratings or download count. Just download a few of the better levels.

Plenty of people are still making levels. Just because a lot of us aren't online doesn't mean we don't play.

In all honosty I don't know how to configure my gateway settings to allow Jazz2 to work, but even if I did I doubt I would still play often. I am usually doing something more important or just am bored with the game. Most people are.

JDC definetly revives it a bit, though. Wait for then.

I briefly started playing JJ2 online again but stopped again because either boring, poinless hotels were hosted, idle servers, test levels and when a server that had an actual GAME TYPE was hosted no one played or it was full of noobs. I tried hosting an actual game but I am a "Ping Lord". Still single player is still fun and I've been working on some lvls I just don't like online play anymore. Of course if we got a JJ3 this would change (if it was good).

I play on a fairly regular basis, but I do it single player or co-op. Battle games were fun for me when the game came out, but I got tired of just endlessly blasting and getting blasted by other players. I've now turned my energies toward making my own single player levels, which should start appearing relatively soon.

P.S. There are people in this community that would rather make levels/tilesets than play the game. Just because there are no servers doesn't mean you can go around saying OMG TEH GAME IS DYYINGG WE MUST ALL PLEI. I've seen threads like it for 5 years now and they haven't changed anything, we're still here so stop complaining.

I have similar problems with not being able to play online. One of these days I will figure out how to fix it, and then do it.
