Controller (Gamepad)

Hey, my gamepad, its a Nyko gamepad. . . It works in multiplayer split screen though NOT anywhere else!!!! It isn't that it wont work, it is that when I try to switch the controller from Keyboard 1 it keeps and switching back to it. Always keyboard 1!!! Can anyone help?

If you're doing what I think you're doing, don't worry. Are you referring to your settings in the "Options->Controls" menu? If so, the fact that it says Keyboard 1 whenever you go back to it doesn't matter. Try using your gamepad in single player and see what happens.
