I've been playing around in photoshop, and I have created a multitute of backgrounds, ranging from spacey to the basic abstract. Yes, they may be basic, but I've created some very interesting patterns. However, since my photo hosting sites are being smacktards (strike9 and photobucket both) I can not show off my favorite.
Green Portal -- Kinda spacey, played around with a large amount of filters. Started off the same way: Clouds>Difference Clouds multiple times. Gives for "randomness." :D
Jagged Clouds -- Started as a base for my Tainted Gold piece, my multimedia teacher prefered it like this instead of the tainted gold. So I seperated the layers and made two pieces out of it...Tainted Gold and This.
Jagged Edge -- Fun with gradients! hehe. Yes, I used a gradient tool and a magic wand to make this piece, and look at the results. Clouds and a light blend makes this overlay.
Nova Hole -- Another spacey one, and my smallest in terms of bytes. Only 67k for this background!
Twisted Steam -- Just some randomness, I made a swirly background and put a steam effect over it. My multimedia teacher likes it better without the steam, but to me that one looks far too plain and boring. :p
And finally, the favorite of the ones I have to present...
Nebulae -- I actually made a tutorial on how to make this one, in full scale by layers. It's quite a cool make, too.I only had to use an overlay once, which I did not show in the tutorial, but still...looks cool, don't it? n.n
So there you go. Feel free to download and use at your own pleasure. All made in Photoshop, and all are (c) me!
