The Jazz3D musics made by Alexander Brandon (from Straylight Productions) better not go anywhere.

Since Jazz Jackrabbit 1 was made in 1994...

and Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was made in 1998...

maybe there's hope that Jazz Jackrabbit 3D will be made in 2002. Who knows ?_?

If this is going to happen, I hope they use some of the music in www.nagcentral.com/j2s/jj3/jj3music.htm (http://www.nagcentral.com/j2s/jj3/jj3music.htm)

My favorites are Jazz3D Title (I wanted more music patterns, it sounds almost incomplete to me :P )

Other of my favorites are:

"hopteego"

tutor ("Learning Curve")

forest ("Greenland")

basement ("Deep Wander")

rocket ("Skygazer")

castle ("Castle City")

and by best favorite, canyon "Runabout".

I hope there will be more musics when the Jazz3D project continues.

What about the graphics details in Jazz3D? Anything before Intel Pentium II class will likely to miss alot of FPS. Even though 3D accelerator card is not required, Jazz is fast; because of the usage without an accelerator card, you're likely to lose control or can't keep up because the FPS is too low. So Jazz Jackrabbit 3D probably have a high requirements, but it should be optional to lower the graphic details. Should Jazz Jackrabbit 3D have advanced graphic feature support for Nvidia's GeForce3? hmmm...

I don't know why, but Alex's music can make Jazz Jackrabbit 3D happen.

It's time to leave the 2D world. http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

That's right. And also the environment of Jazz3D was awsome, especially those colorful crystals in the caves. The castle is mighty big. But for some reason, the inside environment reminds me of DM-Gothic.unr in Unreal Tournament. Shiny colorful surfaces brings out the best, but not all computers can take that performance http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif My computer pass the requirements for the Unreal engine.

Oh, and strafing has to be the best move ever; amazing how you can have a high percentage of evading projectiles.

Man, that must be a pain not to use strafe ever; I know how you feel http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I don't want to see you die to much because you don't strafe once Jazz3D comes out to the public.

Ditto, I believe Jazz 3 should run fine if it runs better than Rayman 2, that game ran really fast and I'm only a PII 233, 32MB, Voodoo3 (16 mb), SCSIed computer guy... Rayman two ran unbelieveably fast, so I believe Jazz3 should too.

Never knew Rayman II is on the PC... that beats N64 cause the frame-rates slow downs too much in Rayman II for the N64.

Jazz is own my Epic... Epic should use the Unreal engine... advanced gfx features but quality optional... though I don't have problem with framerates, but FPS will hit around 30-50 on my computer.
