As you can see from these two topics, some posts have been bouncing back. Way back... 34 years to be exact. Any ideas on why? I'll look for more of this.

It may have not been back to 1970, but it still is a backdate.

Want to know something weird too. I am NOT the first post in the 2nd link, New-I-Want-To-Be-Banned-Member. But apparently I am. As I recall, that post of mine is supposed to be Post #2 in that topic.

The date part of the post was screwed up - perhaps from the errors that occured about 2 weeks ago. If something is from 1970 or so the date is probably set to 0. The JCF and many PHP/Unix things record dates as the number of seconds since Jan 1 1970 at midnight.

If posts were corrupted, maybe the post times were too, and the JCF reset them to 1970? Just a thought from someone who probably has no idea what he was talking about.
