View Full Version : Topic Deletion | Poll Edit | More Poll Options

One thing I really liked about this forum is how you could delete your topics. Why can't we do this anymore?

How about finally being able to edit polls that were already created, like if a typing error happened, or a missed option, or someone wants to add or remove options.

What about allowing more than 10 poll options?

And you said you weren't a spammer. Or is this some sort of joke?

Did you HAVE to make so many topics at one time? This is a forum bug. Hopefully it will be fixed in the latest update, whenever that is installed. It is already out.

So posting several similar topics about similar subjects which don't fit into the fourm (Micheal asked if the filter should be modified. That fits into site and forum feedback. That one topic you posted asked if you find spam or profanity more annoying. That is not feedback, nor is it a site question) is better than commenting on that?

You just spammed.

I am full of thoughts today. If your referring to the versus topic, It's another community poll like Michael's poll. If your referring to why there is 2 of them, then you need to click on the first oldest one of the 2 polls, and see what I wrote.

Why does it bug you so much Trafton? Do you feel the need to have to comment on every topic?

I did not just spam. I answered your question, which could have been posed with all the rest of the questions you have posted today. In any case, I do not have to comment on every topic and do not do so. However, I have the right to reply anyway. You post a topic, and then complain about me replying? If you don't want people to reply, you might consider not posting topics.

Don't worry Trafton, I wasn't referring to you. Were having a heated debate here, as you noticed. And you posted at basically the exact same time as me, I was referring to RSPSS. Who I now need to quote, since I might confuse other people.

That topic of his, is also a Misc. Stuff topic. As already the matter was discussed numerous times, like hundrends of other topics which get remade. Several people posted about it, I might have too way in the past, but I don't think so. One person who did was Shadow, and he might have posted that topic befor eyou joined the forums, but I dunno. Conclusion is, my topic is basically both. Well, if you go into the topic, I gave 2 reasons why. Since your arguing on the second one, and if that's wrong, possibly the first one could work.

It's sort of feedback, because It's a really heavy thing that happens in the forum. It has a lot to do with the forum, thus It's basically a comment.

Too tell you the truth, I couldn't follow what you were saying there.

I don't think calling victory by default proves your point too well.

Not my fault, you can't understand what I said.

Since you have made me so, I have decided to do my best in disecting your post. I am not using quote tags because I am too lazy to break my post up with them so much.

'That topic of his, is also a Misc. Stuff topic.'
Where it does not really belong.
'As already the matter was discussed numerous times, like hundrends of other topics which get remade.'
So, it got discussed about before. I know that, that doesn't change much.
'Several people posted about it, I might have too way in the past, but I don't think so.'
So several people, possibly concluding you, have posted about it. Come on! Get to the important part.
'One person who did was Shadow, and he might have posted that topic befor eyou joined the forums, but I dunno.'
More chit-chat of little relevance...
'Conclusion is, my topic is basically both.'
Both of what?
'Well, if you go into the topic, I gave 2 reasons why.'
If I have the right topic, you're reasons were boredom, getting treated seriously, and being in some superficial way similar to Micheal's topic. The first is not a good reason for this. The second obviously isn't true since by some bad luck the only people here to answer it are people who don't think your topic is on the topic of the fourm. The third reason I already addressed.
'Since your arguing on the second one, and if that's wrong, possibly the first one could work.'
Getting treated seriously is no good reason to put something in the wrong place. I would think up an analogy, but I can't now.
'It's sort of feedback, because It's a really heavy thing that happens in the forum. It has a lot to do with the forum, thus It's basically a comment.'
It could do with pretty much any forum, and in fact is asking for personal opinion and not how the fourm should be run. That is like... shoot. I can't think up a good analogy still. Oh well.

I agree with you, Tublear. I have always thought that polls could be improved a lot. I never noticed the a bug about topic deletion, but then again, I haven't started a lot of new threads recently.
