Now available from the newly formed Team Guildforce, Peep Battle! is the newest in 0-player games. Following in the vein of Radium's radfaw games, it features multiple unit types per side, two unique sides, various powers the player can use to influence the battle, upgrades, and peeps in jeeps. Also, it comes with a mod I made when bored, which I refuse to describe here.

Credits, taken directly from the badly placed credits list in the game-
Game coding, suxxor graphics, concept, game design- Risp of Team Guildforce
Textures, menu background - Strato of Team Guildforce
Misc help, beta testing - Radium
Music - The 2nd Reality by Skaven, Gummibears Theme by Radix
Thanks to Mark Overmars for making Game Maker.
Thanks to Martin Rijks and Firelight Multimedia for jbfmod.dll.
Peeps are copyright JustBorn Inc.

Expect further releases from Team Guildforce in the future.

"ERROR : Couldn't find file fmod.dll. Reinstalling of program might solve the problem."

...strange, this program doesn't even USE fmod.dll. Well, I'll get Strato to host it when he gets online.

EDIT- here: www.stratn.com/fmod.dll

I had that error too. I think the problem is that peepbattle unpacks "jbfmod.dll" but the dll that's actually required is fmod.dll.

Anyways, cool game, but the powers need to be stronger, in my opinion.

Yeah, really fun game, awesome music choice etc. Although every time I played so far the peep army won without even having one of their bases down ;|

Needs sound effects.

The mod is better than the original.

I would like to know how to control peeps.

I know for a fact it uses jbfmod.dll. I can play it without fmod.dll in the folder.

What, explosion isn't strong enough for you?

EDIT- wow, a lot of stuff happened when I was writing this reply.

BR- Not for me. Then again, it is random. Your computer must suck at generating random numbers.

Cooba- you didn't read the first post, did you? This is the latest in 0-player technology, not 1-player.

Radium- would zap and beep sounds really help this game?

It really only takes one base down to do the respective army in.

If that was fixed the game would go back to what it was like in the lateish betas, with battles lasting for more then half an hour.

Uhh. Graphics are 1337, though. Risp's style is easily recognizable. Dirt on Desert could make cool JJ2 textured background.

I think the record battle length was something around 45 minutes, though that could easily be topped I'm sure.

Woo, enforcers won!

So was the biggest part of this the AI?

Strato

Actually it was the balancing. The AI is simply pathfinding and shooting blindly ahead. The background image was a big deal too.

For example, at first rocketeers were amazing and won the peeps every match. Then even having them spelled certain doom for the peeps. Then they became what they are now.
