That 2vs2 tournament 8D

It starts tommorow (3 September)... Yasco's message:

Hey guys ,

On this page you can find the information and stats about the JTC Tournament which is going on at this moment. As you all know Rag and I arranged a 2vs2 Tournament. We needed 16 teams and we found all of them!!! So I hope this Tournament will work and be a big success! I think we can start soon with round 1 , but I first want to finish this site(made by ChippieBW) before the first match will be played. I really hope you will enjoy JTC Tournament 1!!!!

These are the groups for round 1 :

Group A

1) Sasik/Sylver
2) Vegito/Scare
3) Gr33n Pl4nt/Chavrash
4) Stiletto/Urbs

Group B

1) Anakin/Craccoboy
2) Messiah/Satan
3) Jippo/Tyuni
4) Thunder or Unhit/Enigma

Group C

1) Dragoon/Shaney
2) Ragnarok/Yasco
3) SonGohan/Quaker
4) R3ptile/Skull

Group D

1) Snooz/Superjazz
2) FireSworD/DizZy
3) Catz/Flaminglizard
4) AvK/Gummi




The rules for JTC Tournament 1 :



1) 8 teams will be eliminated in round 1 leaving 8 teams for round 2 (16 players). The 2 teams with the least points from each group will be eliminated at the end of round 1.

2) In the first round, it will be one game for a win (because the first round is huge).

3) Games in round 1 and 2 will only be played to 5. No more, no less. Perhaps different in round 3 onwards. This will be decided.

4) You MUST play all the teams in your group.


5) Loss : 1 point / Win : 3 points

7) In each game, the teams must agree on one map and all four players must agree.

8) Matches have to be hosted by an 'official'. I(or Rag) will decide who that 'officials' will be.

BTW if this starts in early september, or anywhere till the end of september, i dont think chavrash will be able 2 play. But i gues green plan already knows that...

Snooze. anyway, i will participate in this tournament, but ill never participate in a tourney what is organised by yasco/rag. they all are probably going to suck. don't ask me why.

BTW sundays r great for me 2 play. Sundays 20 CET on i can do like 2 matches if u guys want. Most days though I can do matches from 21 CET on... I gues I'll have 2 make an exception for gp who isnt from my zone... and blacky. Sylve/Sasik, Vegito/scare bring it on this week!!!:)

hmms, dudes, do we actually need a webpage? w could just start a topic with results only...Unless someone can scrape a page together in a week... Cmon, lets try doing this:)

BTW if it doesnt work out, we could still like have a 2v2 competition at the same time as jdc. So jdc would be just dueling and events, whilst 2v2's wiht permanent teams would be a separate competition.
BUT it would still own to have this competition ready and working... alll we need to do is play dudes.... It would be nice if at least one teammember of each team would like give his info to rep(email, icq, msn,aim), and he can post it here in one post till the end of the week, so we have means of communicating between teams 2 organise matches.

This could still work, but obviously the organisers need to do their stuff so it might take a while. I have no news of what the hell is going on but apparently Yasco and his friend are making a website for this. When this will be done I have no clue at all, but even by the time it is done, it will then depend on whether ppl are still bothered and BESIDES WHEN A TOURNAMENT LIKE THIS IS PROPOSED, PEOPLE WHO ARE POPULAR NEED TO HELP AND GET IT GOING. RAGNAROK IS A RELATIVELY NEW PLAYER, THIS TOURNAMENT NEEDS A MORE POPULAR HOST/ANNOUNCER.

Plus i hope the website will hold some player info, so it will be easier to arrange matches...

Ohh and I fully agree with GP on his last point. Lets give it a shot, so what if it will be delayed a bit? If it does start sometime, it will be a BOMB.
