What's your favourite/least favourite planet in JJ1?
My favourite would have to be Tubelectric, although it's a tough choice. It was my favourite when all I had was shareware and the Holiday Hares, and still is. Plus, the music kicks tail. Honourable mention goes to Devan's Twin Battleships, which has a cool conept, although they're not technically planets.
My least favourite is Ceramicus. It's just the most boring planet in the whole game. Even the enemies are dull; just turtles that jump back and forth. Dishonourable mention goes to Raneforus. It's just dull, and the graphics seem kinda drab, too.

I liked the concept of Dreempipes (except I think using weapons in the fuel should have made the whole planet explode), but my favo(u)rite planet was probably Tubelectric.

Favorite... probably Marbelara. Even though it's just another nature planet with temples (Slugion, Turtemple, Exoticus, Stonar, etc), it's really cool, especially with the addition of the lava stuff. It looks cool from outer space, too. The only real problem is that it's a rip off of Marble Zone.
Least favorite... maybe Slugion. The design was interesting, but not enough was done with it. Besides, having Drageens so soon after Dragoons (or was it the other way around?) is just kind of weird.

Favorites: Tubelectric. I always thought that there were some hidden secrets in those levels so I kept playing them over. Also turtemple, nippius and exoticus. Possibly dreempipes, and definately HH95 (Candion + Bloxonius)
Least: I dont know. Nothing comes to mind right now. I'll reply to this later.

Tubeletric. I hate Sluggion, or rather I don't like it as much as everything else.
I think using weapons in the fuel should have made the whole planet explode
Who says the fuel 'burns'? I don't think an advanced race would use the ol' fuel-oxygen mix we use. Dreempipes fuel is probbably like some ultra stable nitroglycerine, heat it up hot and it'll burn itself.

Deckstar for the 1337 music, Deserto for the Challenge (Try this on turbo mode - 2nd level), Orbitus for the tileset

Technoir is my favorite all the time. Rux. I liked the atmosphere, and it was challenging.
So far, --Ceramicus at the most, but you can shoot Toaster in Lagunicus water, and that sux. ;p

Despite the horribly difficult jump in the second level, I liked Orbitus a lot. Other favourites were Marbelara, Fanolint, Dreempipes, Battleships, Pezrock and Lagunicus. Things I never liked include Technoir, Deckstar and the entire 7th episode.
And Radium has a good point about the fuel in Dreempipes

Medivo, (angered me very much).
What's so bad about Medivo? It's pretty easy (compared to levels like Megairbase and Crystilis), and its music owns. The only annoying thing is an arrow early on in level 1 that directs you back exactly the way you came. Misleading.

Fanolint. I love the idea of Devan growing mutant rabbit-eating plants (too bad all we fought were flowers), level design, tileset colors and the fact, that there is another enemy type that appears only on hard/turbo (Mad Florist). And the best - the music, a mix beetween drum 'n bass and techno. Even it's repeativeness doesn't make it sound bad.

What I want to know is why the blue flowers were so much slower in the second level. They were such incredible foes at first, but then they just slacked off.

They get slower on Hard and Turbo, too.

Well, I loved the whole first episode.
And despised the fifth episode.

Technoir should go to hell, one of the top 5 hardest planets in the game, even on normal. It is pure suicide to attempt to beat it on turbo.

Sure, you can also use a timer or a map on piece of paper so you remember where those mines and Tankety Tank Tanks are.
