King Of The Hill is another kind of a championship, which was actually taken from Warcraft 3. Every week, two elite jazzers will duel each other and the winner will keep playing next week, untill he losses a match. The winner will simply join the "Hall Of Fame" (HOF) of the tournament... it's just another try to make JJ2 more active.
A match goes like this: the players choose a map and they play it to 20 minutes or 20 points\roasts. If there is still a draw after 20 minutes, the players keep playing till someone scores and break the tie. Simple, ain't it?
Today, http://194.109.206.50/uk.gif GreenPlant faced his brother, http://194.109.206.50/uk.gif Ragnarok for a cruel duel in SB2, hosted by http://194.109.206.50/us.gif FireSworD. Ragnarok leaded 4-2 against GP but then, GP made a great come-back and leaded 5-4. Later on, Ragnarok roasted GP and tied up the match to 5-5. 20 seconds before the match was going to be finished and the tie-breaker supposed to begin - GP fragged Ragnarok and made his victory. 6-5.
Upcoming match: http://194.109.206.50/uk.gif GreenPlant vs. http://194.109.206.50/il.gif SkulL

Lol, what exactly does this have to do with King of the Hill? This is nothing but an Ironman match taken from the WWE.
Except theirs is a little different. Normally the time limit is 60 minutes, but on the games it can vary. Anyway you score if you get a DQ, Pin Fall, Tap Out, Count Out, or Interference DQ on the opposing fighter. If the score is tied by the end of the time limit, sudden death in overtime occurs, in which the first person to score the next point wins!

Yeah... giving this the same name as a common JJ2 gametype is probably a bad idea. It's like opening a tournament called "Jailbreak".

There is no JJ2 gametype called this name. Maybe some only some levels...
Anyway, the name is also taken from WC3. ;)

Now that is a good name right there :D.
King of the Hill is a gametype by CraccoBoy, then me, and finally JDC. I guess CraccoBoy never bothered to put a copyright on it. Or he claims that JDC's version of KOTH is the same as his. I didn't bother to put a copyright on mine either, because It's totally different, and simplistic, and most people probably wouldn't like my version of it.

I remember playing King of the Hill was when I first discovered that old "flying rabbits" glitch I posted a long while back.
I haven't seen a KotH server in ages. All you see is Survivor and such. (Which is admittedly superior)

There have been way more king of the hill levels than that. For example, I made one in 1999. Thing is, you can't just 'own' popular gametypes like that. Can people 'own' team battle? Or test levels?
You can't copyright ideas like this, btw. People are free to use all ideas. If you don't want this, you''ll have to look for patents, those protect ideas, not copyright, which I believe protects you from people copying your work.
