Need Help Trying to Disable Something

Use Tweak UI to get rid of it.

General > Settings > uncheck "Show Windows version on desktop" > Apply > OK

Then reboot computer.

You can do it without Tweak UI.

Open regedit by going to Start > Run... and type regedit in the box.

Open up the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop in the left pane.

Double click PaintDesktopVersion in the right pane.

Change Value Data from 1 to 0. Click OK.

Restart the computer.

Thanks, thanks all. Anyone know how to now uninstall an old TweakUI. I still have the Windows 98 version on my computer. Anyone know how to uninstall it?
