Levelmaking Contest

Okay, i know my tourney failed but thats coz someone was too lazy to make our website. But i wanted to judge something, so i decided, maybe a levelmaking contest? Okay, if you want to participate, here is what i want:

A) A CTF level.
OR
B) A Battle level.

This time there shouldn't be too much for me to get other people to do. 8D I want anyone who can to enter. Make sure i can get the level somehow, maybe by:

A) Uploading to J2O, put some indication.
B) Send to "sabatazayoni@hotmail.com"
C) Put it somewhere i see. Or something.....

Okay, the entry time will close next on 29/10/04 at a late time. You will get the results soon. Good luck to all that participate. And start your levels. Tell me if there is anything wrong with the time.

You're making the same mistake I did on my contest. What are the rules?

Oh, oops Rules:
1) Only CTF or battle level. (Not JB/Assassination or anything)
2) Not a pack of levels, only one.
3) No editting other people's levels like Epic, or something.
4) No coppying or you lose points...

How to score points:
+ 0.5 for every vote your level gets from the poll.
+ 1 for every original or really cool part i like.
+ 1 for every tactical part in your level.
+ 1 for every good flowing part/ good layout and gameplay.
+ 1 for every piece of original GOOD eyecandy.
- 1 for every unoriginal/plain/copied part from another level.
- 0.5 for every bug your level has.
- 2 for every dead end
- 3 for every very hard to manouver part.
+ 2 Surprise points if .....

I think I could participate in this contest, but the only thing I wish, is that you would give the participaters more time to finish their level. Two weeks isn't enough, if people want to make a bit larger level than a level which can take a little more time, especially if they have a lot of other things to do, and they can't spend time on the level that much per day.
So I wish that the deadline would be 31th october, so a whole month at least. And then, at Halloween, you could organize the day of judgement. I have also a lot of other stuff to do at the moment, and the next level I'm going to finish is going to be quite large one. So, it will take much time from me to finish it.

Good idea.. Ill change the deadline to 29/10/04, I was just thinking i should judge quickly, because i was excited. Haha, 4 weeks should be better. :(
