Jazz is mine becaue he's s cool, then Lori, cos shes pretty nice, then Spaz, he's not that cool compared to the others. He still is cool, though.

Advantages and Disadvantages of the JJ2 characters:

Jazz:
Uppercut: With his uppercut Jazz can jump higher then normally, and destroy enemies and destructable blocks above him. However, it's not as handy as Spaz' double jump.
Heli-Ears: Jazz's Helicopter ears are very useful in some situations, especially if you want to jump very far.

Spaz:
Double Jump: My favourite of all special moves. Spaz can directly change his position in mid air, that way he can jump high AND far. A combination of Jazz' special moves, but without the ability to destroy blocks above you.
Sidekick: Spaz can't kick blocks that are above him like Jazz can do, but he can easily destroy horizontal blocks and also kill enemies with this move.

Lori:
Heli-Ears: Lori has the same ability as Jazz to use her ears for far jumps.
Spin Attack: It's similiar to Spaz' sidekick, but a lot more useful. Very good for killing enemies, aswell as kicking blocks.
Ducking: If Lori shoots a Hatter while she's ducking she gets hit by the Hatter's shoot, which doesn't happen to Jazz and Spaz.

OVERALL:
Spaz is my favourite, because he can do everything what Lori and Jazz can do, except kick blocks above him. If you need to get to a higher place with Lori you need to use a special trick, which is not all that easy to perform which makes her kinda useless in most levels. Flying enemies above you can also be killt with shooting up, you needn't uppercut for that, so Spaz is the best (IMO).

Spaz and Lori can plow through enemies with their mêlée attacks, while Jazz can only attack the several tiles directly above him and usually ends up hurting himself.

Ah, but Jazz can destroy blocks in the tiles above him without needing to jump up and down.

Gameplay-wise, Spaz is definitely my favourite. I can't live without that double-jump now. Plus, the side-kick has its uses.
Personality-wise, it's hard to tell, as Lori doesn't really have a defined character as Jazz and (to an extent) Spaz have. The only one we know much about is Jazz. All we know about Spaz is he apparently can be either hyperactive or a lazy bum, depending on the point on the timeline. About Lori we know very little.

Let's get together what we actually know about Lori...

She's Jazz' and Spaz' sister, even though she was originally meant to be Spaz' girlfriend, but that was changed in the last minute. She has superathletically abilitys (but she can't jump high?) and... she's yellow. What else do we know. I looked in the unfinished noogy cartoon which was meant to be the intro, she doesn't appear there. Some of her frames are unfinished, and she uses the same fastfire gun as Jazz does, even though the weapon she carries looks different. She's a bit bigger then Jazz and Spaz (I think, correct me if I'm wrong). Anything else? Oh, and she's the only playable character which actually wears clothes. Her clothes were meant to be yellow earlier, but they decided to make them violet so there's a contrast with her yellow skin (and probably for some other reasons :p )

That's all I know, feel free to add something.

I don't dislike her, but they COULD have given her more of a personality that fits with the weirdness and funniness of Jazz and Spaz.

Spaz's sidekick is not controllable. If the momentum of your kick stops 1/2 tile away from an enemy, you're toast (unless you got more than 1 heart). Lori's kick is faster and shorter and she is invincible against enemies (but not enemy projectile/missile attacks) so you can kick for as long as you want until you clear the area and can safely stop. She can also kill bosses using only her sidekick without getting hurt (she plows through bosses unlike Spaz who is stopped by them). Lori is great but she's definitely not my favourite because of her inability in multiplayer (her sidekick is useless against guns) and because she's a newbie compared to Jazz. :) :)

Well, she can jump higher than Jazz, but the trick is kinda hard to do.

The cartoon I mean isn't finished at all, at least it's not all coloured which is unfinished for me.

She has the same blaster pu sprite, which is right.

I often provide no proof, but I don't care at all.

When I try to grab a copter with her she doesn't. At least as far as I remember. I might possibly be wrong though.
