Is it possible to let an object be in all diffuclies except one!

For example, let one Norm Turtle be in every diffuculies except easy

Or a Seeker Weapon be in all diffuculies except hard?

Well, I'm wondering if it's possible or not, just wondering...

Not without triggers.

My mind is blocked right now, but I remember that I found a way to let something somewhere not appear in a certain difficulty level. Enemies. And they can be "unactivated" by using TNTs, the kind you cannot pick up.
..yeah.

I forgot to add the tileset so you must download violets jj2 time tripping. Sorry!

A question; Have this been done before (it was easy to make).

event 58

What do you mean, event 58 is TNT...

Exactly 8D

To, for example, make an enemy only show up on medium difficulty, place two TNT's (58) near: one with the "only show on hard" property and with the "only show on easy" property.

I'm guessing this works because the TNT's destroy the enemy as soon as the instance is created.

Not everything is an enemy, though. A lot of the time you might just want to have some goodies which don't appear on hard mode.

In some cases, something like a carrot could be blown to an unreachable place by TNT.
I think.

You could make suckertubes that only show up on hard mode that blow you past the event. Not really subtle though.

Or use a version of Olsen's method, but with a crate or a barrel instead. And maybe with a TNT event as well.

But how can I get goodies (like Seeker) be unavailable in Hard?

Here (http://www.jazz2online.com/d3/hardmodetest.zip) are two quick examples that can be used. Nothing too hard to replicate once you understand it. Just open the levels up in JCS and stare at them for a while. There are probably other ways to do it, but I'm not going to bother.

BTW, the bomb scenery is there in the first example so that the TNT explodes instantly. Apparently ammo crates (like the seeker crate I used) don't fall down when the tile below them disappears. Gun crates seem to fall in that situation though.

Answer my question please.

It has, I've used it in some of my (unpublished) SP levels.
