Ok, this is tough to decypher, but I think I got it. Aren't you glad I'm still around?

Ok, what he's saying is that he's been trying his hand on a game, improving on JJ2, for two whole months without rest. He wants to be a successfull gamemaker some day (same here). He knows he needs the source code to get a better view of JJ2 and Epic... you know.

The thing is, and this is my best guess, he's programmed some things, but he doesn't know how it all fits together. Now he's confused, because he doesn't exactly know what he's done.

That's the best I can do, sorry...

Oh no!
I'm sorry guys.
I'll explain it.
The one who said he was my 'friend',
I didn't know his English wasn't that good.
So on the phone, I asked him to advertise the project for me, and ask what to do about it.
And Now I see this mess, I got a bad impression, but it's all wrong.
I'm a big fan of Jazz Jackrabbit, since I was 3 years old, and now I'm 13 years old.
When Jazz Jackrabbit 2 was released, I built many levels and I dreamt about marketing a version. But then I didn't know what copyrights are, what's legal or illegal and what source code was.
A few months ago I decided to go for it. I built many levels, I created a nice version of the game wice contained many levels of 'Jazz2 the Secret Files', and 'Holiday Hare'. All that testing got 3GBs on my computer.
Today I realized I need to ask permission for distribution the game.
I need the source code to edit the game, (I have a programmer) and now I know Epic isn't giving it away.

You did all THAT? :O Can we see? :) You could always ask Epic if you can work FOR them. That way, they may be able to give you permission to edit the source code and give them your profits. Just a thought.

Nice thought, but I don't think that'd work.

And Jazz_jcs, you should NEVER give any passwords to other persons. Even if it's your friend, you never know.

You could release your work free, that way it is legal without copyrights.
