You can make Battery Check lvls with JCS, but now you can also make Battery Check with JCS! :) I just discovered a really old tileset that few ppl seem to know about. It's made by Newspaz and I think it covers the whole Battery Check tileset: http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=86
For the "UFO" version, go to: http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/downloads/info.php?levelID=106

That one sucks. The original is way better. I'll port it in a while. :)

Had that for a long time. What's cooler is the actual demo.j2l and demo.j2t files, directly converted. I wish I could remember how I got those.
(BTW, anyone who's played PANGOIO demo would know about that tileset.)

Someone from Hootchie Cootchie entertainment.
And just to save any further questions, Hootchie Cootchie entertainment did all of the art for the game ("sprites",tilesets, etc.)

I guess this is as good a time as any to ask a question which has been bothering me. Why is it that you know so much about Battery Check?

Since I got the demo sometime ago(I think it was from a topic regarding a beta version of Jazz 2) I was very curious about the game. Thus I did many websearches which led me to about 5 sites. From those 5 sites I have absorbed knowledge.
And that's not alot of knowledge at all.

Would you mind sharing your knowledge with us and reveal the addersses of those 5 sites, oh wise one?

Well there's link one and the revealed 'secret' of what I put in a Google Search.
Other 4 links are:
http://stibat.nl/ The people who own the Batteryman character
http://batteryworld.nl/ Some site made by Stibat for kids to learn about batteries/play games/read comics.
<insert random cheat site here>- Any site with codes for the game
<insert random shareware site here>-Any site with the game's demo.
I'm no longer sure that's how I got my information on the game looking over the links, but those are the 5 sites I visited to get some information.

AFAIK someone actually gave him the original graphics.
I'll port the original first one soon. I just need someone to send me battery check.

Well, maybe just Binnen.j2t will do. If I have it, it'll probably only take me an hour or so.

I can't find the tileset 'Rain' on J2C. Where is it?

I can't find the archive of J2C off hand, though if it helps I think Orange Games was listed as the author

Try my conversion if you really want the Rain tileset. It should be identical to the original from Battery Check.

It may actually even have more tiles, though I don't have the two to compare.

(For future reference)
J2C's site is http://jazz2city.milesba.com <!-- or http://milesba.com/~jazz2city/-->
It was indeed under Orange Games, in the zip named batchk. It's the demo.j2l and demo.j2t files directly converted, which was what Unknown Rabbit was referring to earlier in this thread.

Does the demo have its own tileset? :o I found it looking very much like rain.j2t

The demo has it's own music as well, although it's just a shortened version of the Rain music in the final game IIRC. Also, the Demo level is just half of the rain level.

The half with much better gameplay, might I add :[

I go through the second half of the rain level and stare at confusion with all those boxes of red suckers, trying to determine if there's any reason they should be there, if they're posing a threat, if I was originally supposed to interact with them, or what. :D

One of the first things I noticed when playing the demo was that I were playing a half level, and one of the first things I noticed when playing the full version was that I remembered half a level from the demo...
