All of the people that got the shareware the day it came out. I'm not one of them, because I got the shareware version a week after it came out I think. I have had the full version since November or December of 98. I'm sure there are people here that are older to the game than I am.

I didn't even knew there was a shareware version back then http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif. I just read the Avault review 100th of times and went to the store to ask when it came out.

I think I was like a month before retail came out in US...

Or something like that peraining to the shareware release/full release. ;P

I remember someone telling me about JDC after I played for a few days and then DethMan came on with that initial scan of the retail CD...

I think ST means J2C, not JDC. http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

(Shareware for me: Easter day '98. Full version: July 20ish '98)

I don't remember..I had the shareware for a long time though, and I got the full version in Christmas of 98 or 99..whichever is more logical. So I'm not http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Well, when DC was updated frequently the community seemed alot more alive. Man, I was happy when the 1.23 patch was released!

Shareware since May, full version since June 1998. I didn't play online a lot back then because it was too expensive at that time.

I snagged the shareware about a week or so after it was released. And I had the full version pre-ordered directly from Epic (Yes, Epic actually DISTRIBUTED games back then... wild, huh?). Fun times for all. :-)

I never had JJ2 shareware...but I borrowed the full version CD from someone else who had pre-ordered it (i borrowed it I think a few weeks after they got it). But I don't really count because I didn't even get the internet until the end of 1998, and that was dialup on a 28.8 modem, and even before that I didn't play much single player because my computer was probably the slowest Pentium out there (running at 60MHz), so...I didn't really start playing much until the end of '99 when I got a new computer and a cable modem.

Never had shareware. Didn't know JJ2 existed until my dad brought it home in July '98. Didn't go online until about a week later after getting it. First online name = xENO (Didn't know I had capslock in at the time). I also got HH98 either the Christmas of '98 or the Christmas of '99, whichever is HH98's first Christmas http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif.

Hehe. Cool. That means I've had the game longer than you Xeno. I got it around January, but I was on holidays. SO at the end of the month I played SP then I tried multiplayer out.
