He is a different but it's really alike Martin in the cartoon Duck Dodgers, don't you agree with that?

I'd say that a Helmut having similarities with Marvin the Martian (yes, that's his name, not Martin) is sheer coincidence. Both have the same generic Roman battle helmet design, namely the brush :)

IMO, it's a Greek battle helmet design because the Greeks were using them long before the Romans. But we'll never know what the authors wanted to do. Maybe the helmuts in JJ1 were really just a parody of Marvin?

You mean Loony Tunes, right?

Well, Duck Dodgers is derived from Looney Tunes (the new Duck Dodgers cartoon they're showing now is a spinoff based off a Looney Tunes short of the same name) so Blaiken's technically right.

It's kind of like saying "Sinbad reminds me of Captain Nemo from the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen". It just makes more sense to use where the character actually came from.

epic probably ripped off marvin martian just like they did with prince, back to the future, donkey kong, and doom.

Jazz Jackrabbit is essentially a ripoff, but a ripoff of all the right things put together.
