would it be illegal to upload a fixed version?

Well, maybe, but nobody would care.
I would assume that anyone who wanted a fixed version would fix it themselves since it takes like two clicks.

It only happened to me sometimes...
I think in V 1.22, after finishing Garglair, would return you to the start of Medivo1. In V 1.23/4, it sent me in a loop, to the spot where I entered the secret level, and would return me to Garglair.

I didn't know that because I never figured out how to get to the secret levels. I suck :(

its really the only secret lvl u can play straight from the episode. u can get into medivo1 and find the warp if u dont know where it is.
this should really be fixed if we ever get the source code

It's not really that huge a deal. It only takes a couple clicks to fix the problem in Gargoyle's Lair, and there's a way to make secret levels work anyway.

Yeah. There are a number of ways to make secret levels, and that particular one doesn't work too well.

I had the same bug as Sonyk had. It could be fixed by placing the right secret level event (there are actually three of them), though I forgot which one works. As far as I know it looks like a coin warp animation, and you can shoot it to get to the secret level.

The Warp Secret to Garglair should force Jazz to have 100 coins.

I know which one works, I used it in my JJ1 episode 1 conversion: the "Bonus Signpost" event. All you have to do is shoot it: it considers the level cleared and skips to the level filled in the "Secret Level" field of the level proporties. When you're done with the secret level, you go to the next one. :)

Bonus warp works perfectly if it requires coins.

Uhh...we don't need the source code to edit levels =P.

We do to edit that regular "secret level" bug. See the first post, it's evident that the "secret level" thing is hardcoded into the game.

Nope. I know what you're talking about (I've had that bug in my earlier levels too). You could just replace it with a bonus warp or whatever.
