Read the poll question. I know I probably wouldn't.

I tried to quit JJ2 and left for other, better, games. The better games looked great, had better gameplay, excellent sound, a lot of game depth..blah blah blah but they lacked soul. JJ2's community is like a nice, hot cuppah coffee there for you after a hard day's work.

Yes, I don't even know half of the people in the community anyway.

I agree completely.

I like the community of JJ2, but I hate people that say words like n00b, lamer etc. Dead to that words = thx.

<s>N00b! Lamer!</s>

Sorry, couldn't resist. :P

Same as WR. So many games look much better than this, and I'd definately play them instead of jj2 any day, but the community keeps me here 'cause I know a lot of great people here =D.

I dont completly like all people from the community, i like the fact that its a small community.

You don't know what a small community is, trust me. :P

I've seen way smaller ones.

I really love this community. The people are great, and everybody knows each other. I agree with WR.

I agree completely. And here I thought I was the only one who can't stand these words. Use the correct term people, newcomer.

Actually kid, Elmer is right. This is a small community, compare this to the Starcraft community or the Warcraft, Unreal, Half Life, etc....you get the point.

Due to a temporary lapse of judgement, I have written something of real usefulness here! :D

Can we use words like N00b and Lamer when talking about n00b or Lama, though?

Anyway, I'm not sure. I'd have to think about it. The fact that I base most things I do off of JJ2 ought to help answer the question a little, though.

Nope. I would've been gone for sure ;)
I barely even play any more anyway...for years :p

This thread shows the futility of those 'Jazz is dying' threads. The invincibility of the community will get JJ2 through to whatever nasty end we will all ultimately face!

We are family
I got all my sisters with me
We are family
Get up ev'rybody and sing

Ev'ryone can see we're together
As we walk on by
(FLY!) and we fly just like birds of a feather
I won't tell no lie
(ALL!) all of the people around us they say
Can they be that close
Just let me state for the record
We're giving love in a family dose!

( We are Family - Sister Sledge )
To answer the question: Heck NO! =D

Definitely not. Six years ago it was a great game. Now it's old, outdated, and abandoned by its liscence owner as well as most of its fans. Now I'm not saying I love all of you. Four or five years ago that was true. But I've grown up with many of the people of this community. I don't know what I would be like without these people. I stick around because I feel attatched to the Jazz Jackrabbit community. I am a part of the community. I don't want to let that go.

Reading that was the first time I realized Lama was lay-ma, and not lah-ma, as in Llama.

This is a great community, period.
But since my friend loves JJ2 and he doesn´t have Internet, yeah, I´d play the game without the community. But nearly not as much.

I for example put together a new SP level, I enjoyed making it for our great and small community.

A bunch of left-winged addicts doesn't really help me playing.

It would, however, be beneficial for the game if we did something new, maybe even somehow enlarge the community, rather than keeping everything as it is.
