I want to make an SP level except I don't know what to call it. Can anyone give me ideas for the name of my level? :)

Well, do you have any idea what the level will be about?

Level.

... no, seriously, this is one of those times when actually describing things can be useful.

Describe the lvl first, the tileset used, how the lvl is integrated into the story, if there is one, and of course the music/mood of the lvl.

Potshots:
1. Nietzsche’s Hair.
2. Dreams of Spaz.
3. Handkerchief of Doom!
4. Level 01.
5. Gates of Tartarus.

This is interesting. Trying to name a level without having a clue what the level is about.

I mostly use simple names, like i should call a castle level like "Carrot Castle" and a Carrottus level like "Carrot Garden". I think the level needs to be good, the name doesn't really matter..

LittleFreak

So you're naming a Labrat Level "Carrot Labrat"? :P

So you're naming a Labrat Level "Carrot Labrat"? :PNot like that, that where just examples, i just wanted to say that the level is more important than it's name..

Yes, I agree. :)

(still I'm going to rename all the standard levels and let them start with Carrot, bahahahhaa :P)

Hmmm...
Carrot Rabbit in Training
Carrot Dungeon Dilemma (This one actually comes close to working)
Carrot Knight Cap
Carrot Tossed Salad (Hm, maybe)
Carrot Carrot Juice (Heh)
Carrot Weirder Science
Carrot Loose Screws
Carrot Victorian Secret
Carrot Colonial Chaos (Could work)
Carrot Purple Haze Maze ("Carrot purple"?)
Carrot Funky Grooveathon
Carrot Beach Bunny Bingo
Carrot Marinated Rabbit (Mmm...carrot marinated rabbit...)
Carrot A Diamondus Forever
Carrot Fourteen Carrot (NO)
Carrot Electric Boogaloo
Carrot Voltage Village
Carrot Medieval Kineavel
Carrot Thriller Gorilla
Carrot Jungle Jump (It's not as nonsensical as SOME of these names)
Carrot A Cold Day in Heck (>_<)
Carrot Rabbit Roast (Another one that sounds like a bizarre food item)
Carrot Burnin' Biscuits
Carrot Bad Pitt
Carrot Battle (Y'know, it would surprise me if someone HASN'T used a name like that)
Carrot Springboard CTF
Carrot Colonius Wars
Carrot Diamondus Warzone

Hooray, for the word 'carrot' has lost all meaning for me!

When I can't think of a name, I think of a random sentence, make it into an acronym and that's the name. It's pretty random and useless, but it's better than nothing.

With no idea for a level i'm going to tap into my mind and make a guess.
Your level pack will have something about blood... yesh?(or no, it's doesn't matter since I'm guessing)
Have the word blood appear in your level name (like, you have to go save a village of ummm talking carrots or something the level would be called Save BLOOD Village! From Blood!!(plot twist right there))

Fawriel

I'm so for n00b's idea, even though I didn't get half of what he was babbling.

And because I can, I'm going to tell you about the wonders of level names, Joe-Bob.
You see, making levels is an art. Most paintings and drawings and the like also get names, at least the ones with meaning. The same goes for books. And all the like that you need creativity for.
So, a level name can either be absolutely and totally unrelevant, and you might just as well call your lava level "Lava is hot" or something, but a really brilliant level needs a brilliant name that adds to the mood of the level just like music does. That's why people love stories like Steven King's "It". Because it isn't called "Horror Story About Some Monster".

Why do you know? =O

My lava themed level (which I'll probably never finish) is named exactly that way. ;D

I guess I'll change it though. :P
