View Full Version : Disable smileys in signature?

I just wanted to put an image into my signature, but it does not work because there "accidentally" is a smiley in there which ruins it.
I found no option to turn smileys off in signatures, so I wanted to ask if that is possible.

O.o;; How did you manage that? The text inside of the IMG tag shouldn't get converted to smilies. Also, I don't think most URLs would have text that translates to smilies, unless the person typing it made a stupid typo or mistake.

The URL has : and p in it, which gets :p

Can't you just DL the picture, rename it, upload it somewhere else and link it from your uploaded storage space?

Out of curiosity, what URL are you using that would contain a colon followed by a P in it? I can't think of any cases, unless you are accessing a passworded FTP directory, that would require that character sequence.

I found the pic on google, actually.
But WR's idea is pretty much fine, I should've thought of that on my own. :P
Thanks.
EDIT:
Works fine now. ^^
