Heh, it looks just like one of those sprites in a Pokémon (Advance) game. Nice work.

Her dress could use another brighter shade. It looks flat right now.

Nice. Perhaps the eyes could be changed in a way to even improve cuteness. And, well, what Unknown said, except in a less harsh tone.

This one sprite had three times as many replies as my art gallery : (

I feel snubbed all the time when I want replies for my art...

And then there's the jackasses that haven't even drawn anything yet and just create a topic to talk about what they want to draw... and those get a ton of replies... it's retarded, really...

Now I feel slightly worse.

Why?

It's a sad fact, but these "sprite" artists steal all the attention on this forum...
I mean... sprites are fine... but a whole thread on one sprite? Come on people... start posting when you have more than one sprite to show off...

Quickly! Make more sprites so people will shut up!

I found a way to scan items on a normal paper scanner and posted pictures on my gallery, I was hoping for at least a little feedback.

And you start posting when you have two pictures of the same character/whatever in different angles/poses.
I'm now going to give Marine Feedback.

Yay! Marine feedback!

If I hadn't jsut been throwing up for 30 minutes I'd be really happy.

They are *NOT* the same character. You don't put much work into 32x32 pictures... what was it.. 15 minutes for that Sonic sprite... ?

Marine and I put a lot of time into our work...

And har har Radium for making that pixel thread... you're hilarious... :|

Those complaining just need to face the fact that a lot of excellent art is going to be placed aside for something cute that people respond well to easily; the exception to this is if your work is way above par.

EDIT- I have no idea what the heck I was trying to prove, this is why you don't try to do something when you're half awake.
I'm thanking Batty buddy for reviving this because I would have otherwise not have seen this post.
19 minutes. It took me 19 minutes for that sprite. And because I'm insane, I decided to see what I would draw in that same ammount of time(19 minutes), if acting only on impulisive doodling, just to see if the end result of a 19 minute doodle was better than a 19 minute sprite.

The link above takes you to a doodle featuring two munchkin-istic animals, whose leg's being short are primarily the fault of me doodling with a pen, some random planets, a spaceship just flying by, and two smaller creatures just standing around.(blame the lighting and size on my currently non-working scanner which forced me to use a digital camera)
Anyways in the end, a drawing that took 30 min-hour to draw beats a 19 minute sprite, but I'd rather see one sprite than a doodle drawn completely on impulses with many a mistake(I can point out more than a few on my doodle) that took the same time to make.

Uhh, pardon me, but in pixel art, you worry about every single pixel, since a change in one pixel can mean a very different picture, depending on placement and the difference in color. In a 32x32 lineart, you have 1024 pixels to worry about. While pixel art may look small and easy, it really isn't. Shading (what is considered by many what makes the art, well, art) can be a really tough process.
