Well, I can't wait 'til this one get to cinema. I'm gonna watch it with friends. Before I do, I wanna ask if there's available Nintendo GameCube game for it.

If you really can't wait, here's some reading material: http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?t=12581
It would also help if you actually re-read the 5 books. ;P
Here's the official film site: http://hitchhikers.movies.go.com/
It's taken soooo long for this movie to come out, and then there was of course the tragic death of Mr. Douglas. :( I just hope that they haven't ruined his original plan for the film.
Also, no, there is no H2G2 Gamecube game, afaik. However, there's always text-based adventure games: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/game.shtml
Still, like LOTR, I doubt that the movie will be better than the books (or the radio show..or the TV show...or the sub-etha network mental pictures transmission).
EDIT: Actually, I didn't quit like the TV version. :p

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was originally a radio show and continued for some time as the books were formed (though they differ), and then there was a TV show for a little while. Douglas made the movie script a long time ago and it's just now been produced, although there was a BBC movie made.
I'm just getting into Mostly Harmless myself, though I had read the first four books before now. And as for the movie, <a href="http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/hitchhikers_guide_to_the_galaxy/?show=all">reviews so far on rottentomatoes</a> have been quite positive. I hope I agree.

Nah, the BBC 4 version is much better, Slayo. It's much the same in terms of contents, but it looks great too. Plus, it has hints written by the man himself (no, not Jesus, I mean Dogulas Adams...sigh).
EDIT: Wow Stephen Fry narrates?! :D Anyway, only 6 days away till the film is released in London. :) It's odd, however, how the film uses so many American actors when 3 main characters have all spent a considerable long time in England.
