I started this thread of Fquist demand, or well, not really, he just said we should make a good poll about it and discuss it here. So here we are.

Banning someone for a mental illness is something I do not support, but as long as he's here he'll get problems with us again and again.. so I have no opinion.

IMO a 1-2 week ban should do. However, we'd have to keep him on sight so he doesn't post 10 threads per two days approx.

Do you really believe banning him for 1 or 2 weeks will help anything? Autists can NOT learn.

Autists can NOT learn.
And that is the sad thing. The only way to get him to stop posting 10 threads per day is to ban him of remove his thread posting rights.

But somehow, that doesn't sound right for me...
Of course he's really annoying sometimes, but still it's not his fault at all, and autism can't be cured.
We should try and give him a chance to live a live which is at least as normal as it could be.
General rule of thumb is, if TBM makes an annoying topic don't reply, otherwise those flamewars will never end.

I guess so.

It's not like I want him to learn anything, I just want to stop the immense spam he's (been? ;p) spreading.
Approximately 15 threads in two days. New world record. Most of the threads do nought but state what TBM has stated already, except now he's using flaming and personal attacks.
Yes, I'm aware that reporting his attacks towards certain people here would be just evil, considering what those "certain people" did to him in the past. However, he has just called us "childish" because we keep on playing JJ2, which in his opinion is "childish" as well.<Superiority complex!> He just called some mature people, namely Bob, childish. Has he considered that a hobby doesn't make you childish?
Same goes for insulting YGO. Insulting that show is equal to insulting people who enjoy it. However, has he considered that mad YGO fans will flame back? Neither shows are superior to eachother, and discussion between both will eventually result in pointless flamewars. This time, it was ignited by no one else, than TBM himself.
Then come nonsensiful threads like this (http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?t=12797). There, TBM demands a Pokémon trainer to marry with him, but the trick is, "tell me at least 3 of your pokémon.". Pokémon do NOT exist. Does that make any sense, then? He's looking for someone having something not existant. Put in that his immensely large Pokémon addiction, and this threads becomes slightly annoying. And what do annoying threads result with? Flamewars!
My point is, TBM has (partially intentionally) caused a bunch of flamewars, which has resulted into extreme clutter. Clutter, by TBM. Clutter, by people who keep on annoying him even if they are aware that they're going to be despised for that. Clutter, by people who cannot stand the clutter prior to their clutter.

I must say the above post shows some points which I, if I want or not, have to agree with.
However, is it really right to ban him?

If it was right to ban him in 2002, why not now?

No, just make it impossible for him to post more than 1 thread per week. 1 per week should be enough for everyone anyway.
That's what I was going to say, sers. Limit his thread posting privliges. Maybe all the way down to posting one thread a week, and not being able to post a thread in Misc. He should still have full reply privliges, though.

Why is it that in this world you can't even talk poorly of osmeone unless they're white, adult, and healthy.
Hmm, that might sound a little prejudice, but I was bullied by someone in high school and they wouldn't do anything because he was colour blind.

No, TBM shouldn't be banned. This is no longer the 17th century and we can no longer put ppl into little dark holes (or, in this case, ban them) just because they behave in an unorthodox manner. I don't think TBM has a problem with himself, but with us. If you look at this threads, most of them are defending topics which are close to his heart, meaning that if he needs to 'grab' our attention in this way, we are obviously succeeding in getting him pretty angry. Give TBM a break and plz, plz stop arguing with him. It's no good letting yourself get provoked...in fact, we should all apologize to TBM for all the bad things we intentionally and, this is more important, what you unintentionally did.

Then ban 'im if he keeps on spamming.
NOTE: In case it isn't clear, the above is a joke. Plz don't kill me D=

I've asked him to stop making topics and I haven't seen any yet (but i might have looked over them). It's possible to just diable someone's ability to create topics without banning the person.

I really don't think it should be up to anyone but the administrators to decide or even suggest punishing a person. Complaints about people can be sent privately to an administrator, but public discussion is inappropriate.
Threads like these have normally been disallowed - I'm surprised that Fquist endorsed it.

Concerns about the behavior of another user should only be directed toward administrators. Consequences are decided by a user's ability to follow the current guidelines rather than the forum members' approval. This topic is closed because further discussion creates an increased and unfair intolerance of the discussed user. If there are any questions about the topic's closure, you may contact me.

Just to clear things up, I've never asked for this thread. I've even closed a similar one in Misc. As for endorsing banning threads, the thing I meant to say in the misc thread came out wrong. With 'proper' I intended to say a thread not specifically about wether to ban a user or not, but I neglected explaining it.
