I have to say, the results of this tournament have turned out so unexpected. It shows that the active clans are much more likely to win.

May 8, 2005, 03:42 AM
Yup, specially cuz there were alot of new levels, which only the active clans could master in a short period of time. I was sure DM would pwn VS though, I gues I overestimated the other group a bit.

Too bad there's no C'C vs. DM final now... maybe for the third place ;P
If C'C loses this one, we would get two new matches, if C'C wins again, we'll see two matches we already saw.
Maybe an idea for between the JJ2WCII and III: a special one-time "Master's Challenge" event, with a match between DM and the winner of this tourney?

I think it should be the winner's of last years tournament vs the winners of this year's tournament regardless of whether the winner is DM or not. Er... yeah, maybe that was your whole point? :p

OH NO JJ2 SUDDENLY AND SPONTANEOUSLY CRASHED *holds Superjazz indirectly reponsible*
Reptile didn't once mention that BBlair was going to be used as the 'championship lvl' before today nor did he mention anything about using lvls from outside the map pool. He's changing his mind, taking new decisions, and adding new rules again. I am surprised that if he really wants BBlair to be played, he should've mentioned it at the start of the whole tournament. Obviously BBlair can't have been that much important...he wouldn't forget it otherwise, would he?

CC's participation in the finals
Okay, the big match is coming closer and closer. I'd like to announce that after a lot of discussing and testing, we have finally come to a conclusion about the warteam. It will be a combination that we have never used before in a clanwar so it may be a bit risky but oh well :).
http://www.craccoclan.com/BBlair.png
As you can see on the screenshot, the warteam for the first round is going to consist of Chiyu, Grytolle and Anakin.
The warteam for the second round will be Chiyu, Grytolle and Vegito.
Yasco is our back-up player.
That's all I have to say about the finals, good luck to VS, and I hope to see a fun, fair and spectacular match!

What do you actually mean with this WR...or are you just supposed to include "Superjazz" in your every post somehow.
However, Thunder, what makes JDC-matches more important than other, for example jj2wc-matches? Are you going to force people playing teamgames a dozen per day again like you did last season in JDC...but then you mind playing any other games outside JDC you would be invited to. You should be fair and think more about other's feelings.
Yes, fixed stuff in this post, wr.

FQuist. He said that DM would beat C C by at least five points in the finals.
I was happy to take the challenge.
I already won last week when VS beat DM, but C C winning by beating VS by 10 points shows he never could have won.

Eh. That's what the bet was, for the sake of the bet. I don't recall seriously assuming that it would really happen. Also, the bet was about the DM/CC final. Since there was no such final, it's hard to see how I've lost the bet. I guess I will be a good sport and give you the €5 because DM was beaten in the semifinals but it's not what we agreed upon, and that's what you said last week, too. :P

Nice, keep reviving old topics.
R3ptile
Aug 29, 2005, 01:45 PM
(Sorry for reviving this topic, I just wanted to share my thoughts and ideas for the upcoming JJ2WC season..)
I think that trying new stuff might be too risky. Underplayed levels are so random and never work (I guess you noticed that last season). Can't we just stick to DW, BBLAIR, Semi, Distopia, JE and SBv2?
Btw, BBLAIR should be played at the grand-final again imo. It's the most action-paced level out there, not too campy and you never get bored of it.
Grytolle
Aug 29, 2005, 02:37 PM
Reviving topics pwns, why is there a rule against it?;S
I think the best would be if all participating clan's players that will play in the tournament get to choose levels, not lots of people who won't play anyways, which would be the case if there was a poll on JCF.
BBlair is indeed a good level, but you can get tired of it. I was still sick of it a month ago from training it 24/7 the weekend when the grand finale was. I'd like to turn against playing on sbv2, due to its campability, which makes it more lagbased - airhits are fatal et c.
Vegito
Aug 30, 2005, 02:00 PM
3hk's are fatal in SBv2, airhits dont really have to be fatal.
I still don't think that BBlair is one of the best levels really...
lets play MS this season again! =D
Sasik
Aug 31, 2005, 01:23 AM
I agree with R3p. Quality of new levels which were played in last season wasn't so good ;l Personally, I think that Distopia is a bit too small for 3v3, but whatever. The option where all participating clans can choose levels is the best imho.
@Gry: I don't think that sbv2 is so 'campy' level in 3v3. However, it's classic. Airhits and 3hk happens in all levels ( because of seekers and rf's ).
Grytolle
Aug 31, 2005, 03:26 AM
But sbv2 is oe of the easiest levels to be R or RTS in, meaning if your flag gets 1h by air and your enemy is RTS3 w/ good ammo, you have a problem.

CTF is also based on teamplay and tactics much more than skill. Pick teambattle if you want to find out who's the most SKILLED team.

That's called map control.
P.S. I'm taking a break, so I won't be playing JJ2 at all untill JJ2WC III.
