Taking Pictures of Movies On the Computer

For some reason, I can't printscreen any part of movie files when I try to catch a specific frame. The picture turns see through and I don't know what to do. I thought it had something to do with overlays, but when I disabled them it still didn't do anything. Can somebody help me?

If you can, try turning down the video accelleration option.

It's a feature of Windows Media Player that prevents you from taking such pictures so you won't break any copyright laws. Maybe try another program?
