A fairly decent one, featuring level 3 powerups, Team Battle, diagonal shooting (kind of old but always nice) and the (nonexistant) Iceberg tileset :D. Done mostly in Photoshop 7 (with P4ul's help) and then I got annoyed and used Paint for the HUD for the sake of nostalgia/convenience.

Also it apparently turns out this is my 15th hoax. Whee yay.

Changing the sprites of the main characters can take years if you're not quite motivated... I wouldn't tell anyone to do THAT... :p But, yeah, Robotnik / Eggman boss would be quite cool. Those balls remind me of the very first time in Sonic the Hedgehog (1) that you encounter Robitnik. :D

I dont think it's really possible, since no games includes the ''quit'' button. If your in pictochat or the options of the DS it even has to be shut down to get back at the main menu of the DS. Well, it's just a hoax anyway.

Ok. The Life and Ammo icons are too big, and you should try to make the 350/350 health thing with Jazz2 font. Otherwise, it's not bad for a first.

Yeah, that's basically a matter of how jj2 handles animations. Anims are bound to the projectile lifetime. Freezing the lifetime to zero also freezes the anims to the null-th frame. I had to code a special function to reset the anims so that the RF's even showed up.

That's in fact the style of the real Unreal Tournament 3 logo (as most people here have known for long..) with a metalish version of the JJ logo instead of the always-so-famous UT logo. Nice work!

I personally haven't ever disliked any Unreal game as I've always been a fan of the Unreal universe since I played the 'Gold' edition of the first game. I remember that back then CliffyB developed both Jazz2 and Unreal and prefered both games in a different way. Of course I don't like Jazz's slow retirement from Epic but currently, the only thing I really dislike from them is their 'move' to console gaming. As even the PS3 version (and soon the X360 version) of UT3, which has always been a PC shooter series, is getting way more attention than the PC version..

64 players playing a 6 sided ctf and their sprites change to zombie sprites if they die and then they can shoot fire balls from the SKY and they need to eat BANANAS to get back to normal rabbit form, while normal rabbits eating too many bananas must win the jj1 demo in order to get back to the game.

Despite Mono getting carried away, I think that was quite along the tracks I wanted. It's awesome! Hoaxes I was thinking about are more like Cooba's Domination one or the ones with new guns or different coloured stuff. There could be wall climbing or like a banana gun or a working laser shield or uhh, a shiny animation for sugar rush!
