Ok, here's another idea I just had as to the future of Jazz3...
Jazz3 was made with the UT engine, right? So wyh don't we find some way to either A) Get epic to make Jazz3 as an extension of Unreal- IE you have to buy unreal, and then can download the files to alter the characters/levels to Jazz3,
or b) we all get together and create our own character/resource files for Jazz 3 using our own copies of UT...
Would it work??

Would it work??Actually, there was a team actively modifying Jazz3 and Unreal files together with the hopes of making it playable online. There hasn't been much news as to this lately, and the whole thing isn't legal, anyway. But you could play online, change fur colours, weapons worked somewhat (but there were only 2 or 3), and you could create your own levels, among a lot of other accomplishments I can't recall or don't know about.

You know, I posted this answer in another thread:

Uhm.... Razz Arena?

What's not legal about making a UT mod again?

As I said before, it's legal to make a game or mod without having the rights on characters & storyline if you don't sell it and you just post it for free / share it with your friends (at least this is how I know it works).

By the way... where can I download Razz Arena (or the demo)?

With Jazz 3d, all of that was done by default (unless I got an edited version).
I think the only online problems was that it would not connect to anything or something to that extent.

Naught. Mark says we can.

mueh, I kinda figured someone would have a similar idea before me.
FACT: for every original idea you have, about 10 ppl have had the same idea in the last year...
Freaky!!

Once again, Razz Arena is MP only, I believe Jazz 3 would also have SP elements(like SP levels for the offline people(Like Littlefreak) to play) with it.

...elements? It's a plot-driven game. It might have multiplayer elements, but they wouldn't be the main theme.

Hold on. You mean UT has missions? That's interesting. I thought it was just a shooting game with no point. (Even DOOM 3 has a point.)

I wonder whether the term BFG would get censored here...
Well, good luck making mods, although I believe it's been tried in the past before, not very successfully. Razz Arena looks promising, though.

In my opinion, Unreal Tournament is just a game about shooting everybody with no subject and most of all "no head", and Doom 3... well... I've played a bit and I still can't understand how I managed to play more than a maximum of 3-4 levels on that thing. And it wasn't only the fact that I didn't have enough resources to play it well...

There is a point - killing as much as you can.

By the way, n00b, LittleFreak plays SP because he is simply not able to play online due to his router and JJ2's buggy netcode.

I meant a storyline. In DOOM, the story is:
Aliens have invaded! They have invaded the (pentagon?) and slaughtered everyone!
Everyone, but YOU. You must stop the aliens to save the planet!

In UT, I thought it was:
Shoot anything, and kill everyone.

I don't like Doom 3 for many reasons; The surroundings are always the same (just that dark facility), you run out of ammo very often, I have a 1.2 GHz processor, 512 RAM, 128 Video RAM and I can hardly play and most of all... THE GORE (I've read in PC-World that it has been forbidden on half of the globe because of the violence).

Honestly, I didn't even realize it HAS a storyline.

Trust me, I think the game is a disgusting form of entertainment, and I only used it to compare to UT. I found out the storyline while reading a synposys about DOOM (The first one.) I think they're all the same.
