Custom Status...

i was wondering... i mean, i know u guys say it'd suck having to do 300 and sumtin member's custom statuses... but wat if u had a custom status instant submission option, so that people could automatically create thier custom status, except put a filter on wat statuses they can use(take out mod, ex-mod, cuss-words, ect.). So thus, people would be able to have custom status w/o u having to update 300+ different person's statuses. any supporters?

(also plz point out weak spots in this idea)

We don't want to have custom statuses for the same reasons we dont want to have little images under the names or post counts.

eh... i thought the reason u don't have custom pics was to reduce loading time... custom status dosn't have anything to do with loading time :P and if wat stylo says is true, it sux that u can't have sumtin like that.

3. Custom statuses don't grant any priveliges, you magical toothbrush.



4. If you were to have a custom status, and you were a magical toothbrush, someone from the opposite gender might give themselve a "magical toothpaste" status, which would leave you in trouble with your spouse and/or secret admirer. Not ideal at all.



5. Since many people in the world are still using shorthand, custom statuses will not be granted. ;-P
