Que Passa!!!!

I recently went to a lecture on the Tao of Accupuncture, and as a result, I had to do a drawing:

Meet the Seasonal Friends.

I really like these. I'm into this kind of stuff as well. Very creative ideas.
The only thing I could cricize is that Spring, if I remember correctly, was the only one whose.. "body" was textured. It makes him look a bit like he didn't belong to the rest.

I like the late summer one the best. :)

'IT'S ALREADY JULY! OH NO! OH NO!'
'What happened to June? The summer holiday is trickling through our fingers like sand!'
'Time's going too fast! We have to nurse our freedom and have more fun! Time is running away! Help! Help'
'AAAHH! It's half an hour later than it was half an hour ago! RUN! RUN!'

Spring seems a bit too angry and fierce though. I'm not familiar with the concept of yin and yang, so I don't know where/how/when those benevolence and anger emotions come into play. Springs has always been, to me, a season of rebirth and new hope, but your spring looks...well, too angry and, if I dare say so, evil.

Winter is also quite imaginative. Maybe a snowflake would've suited it better, but that wouldn't make it as creative as it is now. I feel kinda sorry for winter. It hears everything, but can't see. Wouldn't want to take a walk in an old forest *cough*Mirkwood*cough* and be Winter. :D

The forest wouldn't like you, either. ;o

Neither would the giant spiders or the wood elves. <s>Or Gandalf's radioactive clone, AKA Fooruman.</s>

I was kind of surprised myself that the evil emotion of Spring was Anger. I actually associated Anger more with Early Summer...

But then, Early Summer was when I was born, so I'm not complaining that it's the ultimate "Good" season.(Winter's the ultimate "Bad" season.)

I always love your work, Batty, and especially your unique drawing style. I should get commenting on more of your stuff.
