Just another Jazz drawing XP

I drew this picture of Jazz a few days ago and just colored it today, then decided to post it here to see what people think of it. I think it turned out pretty well. Well, look for yourself if you're interested. Feel free to comment:

Very nice! It's a bit fuzzy(Makes me think of Chubakka from Starwars... that's not really a BAD thing...), but it looks really cool!

I thought Chewbacca the first time I saw it, too. I like the style though.

It looks good except for the gun, which is way too small.

It's really well-drawn. I especially like the face. But, it also reminded me of Chewbacca first, and Jazz and Chewy don't really have all that similar proportions. Just.. take an official picture of him and compare the two.

Yeah, Jazz's gun is way too small, that's one of the things that I realized when I was coloring it. Well, the fuzziness of Chewbacca is the same as my Jazz's, and so are the proportions, so I see what you mean XD Anyway, I fixed the gun because it was bugging me:

BLUE? I'm looking at the JJ2 CD right now, His straps are RED.

Wow. You did a VERY good job with the shading on his face; there is a definite professional quality to it. My only real criticism is that the gun looks out of place at a perfect side view; it looks like it should be facing forward at least a little. You did a fairly good job enlarging it, though.

Indeed, Jazz's LFG was almost(or is, I need to watch JJ1's intro again) as tall as he was if put on the nose(I can't think of what you'd call the back part of a gun)

Haha, yeah, Jazz's gun in JJ1 was awesome, I was just basing mine on the JJ2 Jazz. Thanks for the comments everyone. XD

I think a good rule of thumb was that Jazz could stand his gun on it's end, and lean on it while he ate a carrot. So, it's not quite as big as he is- maybe more along the line of 2/3rds his size.

That's the sprite, in the intro movie Jazz's gun is about his height(not counting ears).
Which is bigger, and therefore better.

I compared the 2 pictures (the original one and the one with the fixed gun) and I saw something else: the fur around jazz's face is a little bit brighter in the fixed pic!

Is it really? Hm! I thought I fixed that.. I accidentally hit it with the contrast tool, but I guess not... well, you're right then, I just looked at it.
