How do you make the cat enemy that acts like the dog enemy? (and the pillow ghost?)

Get TSF. (The Secret Files, a seperate game from JJ2, only released in Europe, but you can still find it on Ebay)
Oh, and please change your signature before you get warned for it. It stretches pages.

No. someone made it work in JJ2

I think you're thinking of how they got the ghost event from TSF appear in the TSF JCS. The sprites for those enemies are only available in TSF, and can't be used anywhere else, like the Xmas enemies.

I think he just misunderstood you. The Secret Files is a seperate game, but it's also JJ2. Just with some more features and a few new levels.

The cat is the "addon dog" event, it can be used instantly. The "pillow ghost", the "addon sparks" event will only work if you change something in the jcs.ini file. I don't exactly know what, but searching on JCS.ref for "pacman ghost" can help you further.

"Addon dog" is Xmas Bilsy. Actually, it kinda varies from JCS.ini to JCS.ini.

You can change it yourself if you have the proper knowledge though.

And that knowledge is usually gained by having the new JCS.ini in the first place and then looking at the changes. :p

Well, I'm not 100% sure that "addon dog" is a cat, but it sounds the most obvious.

According to J2O, it's the ADDON Sparks event.

Addon DOG (in Enemies->Bad guys) is the Xmas Bilsy Boss.
Addon Sparks (in Enemies->Bad guys) is the cat.
Xmas Bilsy Boss (in Enemies->End bosses) doesn't work.

Does. I've tried it myself. I present you with the BROKEN SMILEY AWARD :lori:

You know, since names could vary, might it not make more sense to link these events with their actual event numbers?

Numbers are hard to remember.

It's just you misunderestimating them.

Addon DOG: 251
Addon Sparks: 252
Blue Ghost-y thing: 253
Xmas Bilsy: 247
And from what I'm aware, event 247 does not work, whereas 251 does.

I apparently have a fixed TSF JCS.ini, because Xmas Bilsy appears as 251, and Addon DOG as 252. Also, Addon Sparks is in there as 253. <s>ALL HAIL MY JCS.ini</s>

247=Xmas Bilsy Boss (in End Bosses) doesn't work.
251=Addon DOG (in Enemies) is the Xmas Bilsy Boss.
252=Addon Sparks (in Enemies) is the cat.
253=EMPTY so it isn't listed.
So, change your JCS.ini and make it this way:
253 to 247;
247 to 251;
251 to 252;
252 to 253.
Dont forget the extra data!

For me, ADDON Dog doesn't work (it's invisible and you win the level if you shoot it long enough, it has the bilsy die animation). I haven't tried Xmas Bilsy, simply because I don't like Xmas levels.

You still need an activate boss event, silly.

... that could be it. :P
What's with the normal Bilsy event, by the way? (does it even exist?)
Sonyk
Aug 1, 2005, 12:16 PM
Yes, it exists. It also acts the same way as the Xmas Blisy, minus the hat.
Jerrythabest

and the cape of the normal bilsy is black, not green.

Ya know, I've used Tweedle boss. He is invisible too and after some shooting in him he dies and... level doesn't finish, but you gain 2000. }>
