There is a converter somewhere here in cyberspace, and there are some articles about converting music on the j2o site, but Jazz2 can also play music files with .mod .xm .s3m .mtm extensions. Converting them just takes time and gives the same results. (Do correct me if I'm wrong, because I think that the filesize matters.)
And converting the files into .j2b files makes them unreadable for mod-players. :(
If you're meaning to convert an mp3 file to a .j2b format, forget it, thats way too hard and time consuming.
You can download music and trackers at modarchive.

As for the tilesets.... I don't know...

Hi everybody. TheOnlyN0B0Dy too.

I'm making a coop (two players Jazz'n'Spaz) pack of lvls and I need help.

1st. Does anybody knows, where can I download converter to make my own tiles?
2nd. (repeating Does...converter) to jazz 2 music files?

And answer the poll...

1. Actually, you only need an art program to create the tiles, the JCS can convert them to a JJ2 readable format. See here:

Disguise's Tileset resource (http://tilesets.hewwo.com/)

Which version do you have btw? 1.23 or 1.24 (TSF)?

2. JJ2 versions 1.23 and up can play regular music modules like .mod, .xm, .s3m and .it. Just remember to include the extension in the Music field and try to keep the filesize under 1 Mb. Also, forget about converting MP3's: they're way too big and not worth it.

Co-op levels would be great, but the problem arrises that we're all sad and lonely people in a sad and lonely world, with no one to play JJ2 with. And there's this annoying bug which makes Jazz and Spaz start points work the same in multiplayer.

In TSF I didn't find this bug. You just place Jazz Level Start event and Spaz Level Start event. Anythig OK! :)

I know, but it's lame... My pack is nearly to finish. I wanted to make my own tileset, but (warning! incoming airstrike) tileset builder wrote (warning! incoming airstrike) can't open file main.bmp (warning! incoming airstrike). Can you help?

Let's go back to lonely people. If they really want to finish my pack they can (warning! incoming airstrike) (again? sux) use cheats :r .

The levels in my pack short (the most of them), but I've tried to make them hard...
Adding Lori in game means to change level 8 - I've used morph-cube to become it and made a rolling-lori (say it fast! ) to smash all dogs. But they spawn, so spaz will be hurt, when stop, but Lori can move nonstop. And there is no spawnpoint for Lori.

P. S. Hey! Why ther Lori Smile doesn't work?

Trouble opening a .BMP file? Keep in mind that JCS can only load 256 colour (8-bit) LBM, BMP, ANM or PCX files, sized 320 x ( (number of rows) x 32)* pixels. These are the only three criteria, so check the file again and if necessary, lower the color depth.

Notes:
* For instance, if you have a tileset with 20 rows, the size would be 320 x 640 pixels.

I'm guessing that air strike quote comes from UT2004 or a similar game.

Anyway, if the two players don't absolutely have to play simultaneously, then I say go with the first two options. It would be a nice change for a Single Player level if you had to play with two players on one computer to finish it. The only thing is it might just become an SP version of the numerous teamwork levels out there like Team Foo Races. A little ingenuity would be needed to make your level(s) stand out.

Yeah, but default pallete makes jazz become toxic :)
I woun't use my own tileset, I've decided to use Et Planet. It looks good for my final map...

And more! I have an Idea :7 to make a level... Hmm... Hi-speed style (watch Unreal Tournament 2001). It would be good. Tileset? Is here any tileset drawer?!

Make that 2 MB. I've been able to make some songs over 2 MB play but seldom do. --Galaxy Sound System, ++FMod

Possibly, but highly unlikely considering how often people are making tilesets outside of requests. On a side note, I can't find a good place for an example of "Hi-Speed Style."
