He joined my server under the name "fooruman", like 5 minutes ago. I kicked him though, and nothing happened. Fooruman however claims he isn't Orbitz, although the IP is the same.

The best way to protect yourself is to use PeerGuardian or your firewall (if capable) to block his IP address. See Nimrod's post for more information.

I discourage any illegal retaliatory action. It could get you in trouble, it could provoke him further, and it makes you just as bad as him.

He found a way to change his IP, but it doesn't seem to be dynamic. If someone can find out his new one by making a snapshot whenever he joins, that would greatly benefit us, and greatly disable him.

dont you remember what was our hack problem last year what about this person that is hacking ius and crashing us is the same person last year sephirot then he letted take dragon the blame and maybe spehy is back to let orbitz take the blame or they are both hackers that use the same name , or orbitz uses 2 or more pcs

Anyway, if you run the protection programs you're safe. Whether he has the same IP or not, the WPE Pro filter Nimmy and Overlord made will protect you. Just take the time to read the instructions, darn it.

I wouldn't say that. If he could really program, he might actually have created a real unpreventable method of attacking servers. He can't, and therefore everything he's capapble of doing can easily be replicated and prevented, nullifying the "omg he's a haxor" feeling you might get from his actions.

May I remind you that he's not the only one on JJ2? When someone other then Orbitz enters the trap server, then everything on his hard drive gets deleted. And, for what? For nothing!
