View Full Version : Think about the future

Hey, long time I aggo I was here =P
Ok, getting right on business, I don't play jj2 anymore, so I don't have to say anything but okey.
Like everyone knows, many ppl here think JJ2 is slowly going dead and I'm asuming when I see a post on any random JJ2 clansite "blabla joined us" "blabla is kicked" "blabla joined us".
Anyway, it seems J2J isn't a "cool" game any more, it's all about clanwars, owning this, rocking that, training here training there.
WHY ARE YOU THINKING THIS IS A GAME LIKE CS(SOURCE), JJ2 ISN'T A GAME MADE FOR PRO1337 MULTIGAMING, IT USED TO BE A COOL OLDSKOOL GAME TO RELAX ON.
If you want to win this, war that, play a game like Counter-Strike, there you can be the best in the world, not with JJ2. People, WHY THE FREAKIN' GOD ARE YOU SWEARING AT "PEOPLE WICH ARE LESS GOOD THAN YOU"
They just see the game as a funny game, like you all should do, IMO you're all thinking about yourself, not about the future of JJ2.....
Just wanted to say this.

I laugh a lot in AYCR games.
Isn't that enough?
Spaz dies in such funny ways, and I enjoy that.
Isn't that enough?
;(
Keep in mind that not everyone, if anyone, is like the ppl you described. But since I'm certainly not, I guess I'll be ending my post here. :p

That's why I like singleplayer more. It's just more the way JJ2 is supposed to be.

You're not the first to bring up this point. And like the other times, most people will agree with you. Yet nothing will change, unfortunate as that may be. So basically, I'm just saying the same thing as sers/Flash: there are always people who take this too seriously, so just try to live with it.

Is it so hard to just leave us alone and play counterstrike?

I agree, I just play, I don't even try to be good, I just go into the battle server run around and kill peolpe, or in CTF I go to the flag I'm suppose to and shoot and enemies on the way... how much stratagy can there be in a shoot-and-run kinda platform game like this? just chill.

Wait wait wait, you're telling me, that if I waste my life taking a different GAME seriously, then the WORLD will think I'm special?
To qoute Strongbad:
"Oh, what's up, ironic costume? I suppose you think you're cooler than everyone here! Well guess what: You're also here. At the comic book convention."
EDIT- Oh and we swear at people who are 'less good than you' here, so that way we can appeal to you CS players. That's what you do right? Right.
EDIT 2-
JJ2 ISN'T A GAME MADE FOR PRO1337 MULTIGAMING
Neither is CS(because proleet multigaming DOESN'T EXIST), unless PRO1337 MULTIGAMING is internet slang for 'Online play' Which wait, JJ2 was made for Online play! That's why it has an online option!
Notice your use of pro1337, that's also a reason why people here more than likely don't play CS. I don't want to relearn the english language just to understand what everyone is typing.
They just see the game as a funny game, like you all should do
I see CS as a funny game because of the kind of people that play it, so you should too.

I agree with Flash, anyone who takes any game too seriously has problems. However, I think everyone has the right to treat the game they want, it's their life.
As for complaining about the clanwars etc becoming more popular: There is no foreseeable harm for anyone coming from this, in fact, it's good to see that there is progress and the game is actually growing instead of dying.
Everyone is fully aware this is a inferior (by standards) 2d game. Some people prefer that type of gameplay, seeing a 2d game being played competitively is quite cool. I am still having fun playing jj2, even though I've experienced more 'advanced' games; why is that? - Maybe JJ2 has something that most other games lack...

Many people have said that, bro sorry not going to work we are in a new age of gaming... To get people to game and to stay u have to get them addicted. Just coming onto the game and talking wont cut it. U have to have something for them to like. Something for them to pwn at.. Relaxing is just Bull now days. Im an oldie I was it was back to the old ways of the hotel lvls and such and such but its not and it never will JDC roxs this joint lol so live with it

Once you think about it, it seems what Crashmash is telling us to kill the online playing community by removing clans.
Which IMO is a very poor future.
There Crash, I thought about your version of the future and I must say it sucks, do I get a cookie now?
