I am so mad. My sis uninstalled JJ2 (including JCS). I had updated it with all of the essential stuff, right. When I insert the disk, it comes up with the main menu. It says all of the normal functions. When you click them it comes up with 'The system could not find the path specified'. Well of course. It was uninstalled, wasn't it?
I went in the SETUP folder and clicked on Setup. Then it says 'This program installs Jazz Jackrabbit 1.20. A newer version of Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is already installed on your computer. You cannot replace it with Jazz Jackrabbit 2 version 1.20. Install will now exit.' so it exits. JJ2 doesn't pop up in Add/Remove Programs, nor do the updates.
Can someone find a solution to this?

Did you read properly? "JJ2 doesn't pop up in Add/Remove Programs, nor do the updates."

Never mind, I have fixed it. Through editing the registry I can install it. Please close this.

There is a registry fix somewhere. However, if you're feeling risky, enter your registry and delete everything related to JJ2.

Why did your sister removed Jazz2 from your computer anyway?

Or you could just download that "Uninstall Aid" program which is said to help, but never helped me.
In a case like this, I explore the CD............highlight a bunch of files, and copy and paste into the Jazz2 directory to satisy any missing files error.

Same for me. And when I patch it to 1.23 it will be impossible to reinstall it unless I remove all 1.23 stuff from the Windows register. It's very weird though.
