View Full Version : A formal challenge to FoR

Sep 15, 2005, 11:32 AM
In the name of the Cracco Clan, I hereby challenge the Total Freaks to an official clanwar. Lately our warriors have felt quite uneasy, suffering from clanwar-abstinence. During the World Championships we got used to playing clanwars frequently, and we miss the excitment of going into battle, the sadistic fun of roasting an opponent in a really humiliating way, not to mention how struggles makes the team closer to eachother. As you might have noticed there have been some chaos in CC lately, mainly due to lack of teamspirit, and now we figure that perhaps some clanwars would make things better. Once again: In the name of the Cracco Clan, I hereby challenge the Total Freaks to an official clanwar.

Details:
The clanwar, if challenge be accepted, would consist of two 3 on 3-games in Capture the Flag. Levels and hosts will be discussed on MSN. (We do not demand a neutral host, some solution like we host one level, you host one could be accepted)

We kindly decline, due to lack of a warteam:)

EDIT: I didnt see a challnege made against 8d, hows that? They have one of the beast current lineups of all clans. SJ(old GpW skewl of jj2), squirrel, YASCO(like the best player evah) and ragnarok. They'll accept imho...(the only ones, well ok, maybe VS could as well)

Chiyu
Sep 16, 2005, 03:27 AM

I refuse because I have much stuff to do(school, contests, basketball team ;) so it means that ClanWar must be postponed to er...maybe end of November or nevah =) and I haven't got a good connection yet so NO.

In the name of the Rabbit Roasters, I hereby challenge the Cracco Clan to stop challenging other clans and stop making multiple threads for it, as some clans cannot be bothered. Lately we have been uneasy at arriving at the Clan Talk sub-forum and seeing 8 "A Formal Challenge to (insert clan tag here)", suffering from seeing too many similar threads. During the time these threads were not made, it was peaceful to look at the non-spammy list of threads. As you might have noticed the mods have had chaos controlling non-spammy threads made by the Cracco Clan and we figure that not making these silly seperate threads would make things better. Once again: I hereby challenge the Cracco Clan to not challenging other clans and stop making multiple threads for it, as some clans cannot be bothered.

Details: You MUST accept this challenge or see the frying and banning power of the mods.

A duel is not a clanwar. A clan cannot have one person in it. The very definition of the word forbids that. Even 2v2s aren't considered to be proper clanwars. 3v3+ or nothing, and CC' has played enough CWs to know that.

I don't speak for DM as a whole, but I do speak as a member of a clan you are challenging.

A few reasons why no one is accepting your invite:

This is a bunny rabbit game. When you use language like "the sadistic fun of roasting an opponent in a really humiliating way," it sounds really, really weird.
You're sending this to pretty much every clan that moves. Where is the feeling of specific challenge? It's hard to feel bad in turning it down when everything that moves is being challenged.
A former, respectful challenge would be to privately contact a clan leader and set up a date, not post some melodramtic message like this one.
The way you're acting suggests that you take this clan war thing way, way too seriously.

DM is barely a clan after all. It's more just a group of people who put DM on the end of their name, or don't. We fight when we like, and probably no one is going to respond to the equivalent of a mass spamming without any individual regard.

Sorry.

I'm going to be nice and reply to this. I haven't been active on jj2 at all almost after winning the past JDC season (aside from a few short 2vs2s/forced duels) and I dont intend to be. Blur hasn't replied to this and I doubt he will soon so I am doing so. I strongly doubt that this clanwar will be happening, though I am not in any leadership position so I can't give a solid answer.

Vegito

Well, this is more about that we want some 'fun' at jj2 again.
So we challenged like about every clan.. we wanted to be sure that we got a clanwar :P
even though we are arranging one with 8D already..

PLUS..

DM is like one of the strongest clans in JJ2..
We, from CC, wanted to play a clanwar against those famous ones :P
I already tried to arrange a clanwar with DM, but it didn't really work out..
So this is another way to arrange it, its easy to get a date set here..

This is pretty much how things are. A lot of our members still play quite a bit and are fairly skilled, but for the most of us don't seem to be very interested in this sort of thing. The way I see it, over the years we've shifted from being a normal jj2 clan to being a sort of jj2 equivilant of a snooty elitist gentlemen's club. The english kind, not the kind with strippers. Some may see things differently.

I don't speak for all members in this regard, but I prefer to just disassociate myself with anything that can be called "clan politics". It's a stupid computer game.

MaGoo
Sep 17, 2005, 06:33 PM
Trafton and EvilMike basically summed everything up. DM hasn't been very clanwar active in a few years, and the ones that were don't play as much as they used to. DM is still in existance for the sake of traditon, and most members take pride in just that, and not much else.

Bobby aka Dizzy
Sep 17, 2005, 09:58 PM
If any specific members of DM wish to arrange a clanwar on behalf of DM I will not stop them, but I will not be organizing or participating in one anytime soon most likely.

[GpW]Urbs
Sep 19, 2005, 05:00 AM
it doesnt mean flame war or anything like that Twinsoul. It's basicly just a game or a series of games played by 2 clans, to see who is better. It is fun because there is team spirit involved, which can't be achieved in other team games or in duels. well it can, but we want a change from time to time.

Why dont you challange a clan with a warteam, than a clan which is still in the progress of sorting out a future warteam?

Talk about challanging the weak, and avoiding the strong. Sounds like you just want another win to add to your list so you can go on and on about it ;)

*Active clan
Otherwise, we'd have two or more whole pages of clanwar requests.

Even if we challenged you only, you still wouldn't accept, speak for yourself and only yourself

Once again, add an active or living in the sentence.
Nearly every clan would have flooded this subfourm with many clanwar requests to dead, disbanded, and clans people made up and then got rid of within a day.

ShadowRabbit is right!!!

These "Formal challenge to (insert clan tag here)" scripts are extremely pathetic behavior and especially "not needed" from an accomplished clan like CC!

It's a stupid computer game.I think you take us too seriously.

Shut up about clanwarring.
Why don't we just be happy, with no clanwars for ONCE?

I totally agree...
why don't you "good jazzers" or "Professionals" go and beat your little brothers/sisters in a duel... and then we shall see if you can ever come close to matching skills with any of them... :P
