Tell me, GenEX... lets say, i start, a clan, that never took off, JUST when the game came out, called, hmmmmm, lets take for example... GpW, but instead of God's Promise to Win or Gurus of Provocative Warfare, mine meant Gummy Peon Wabbits(remember, this is only example http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif) So, after it basically fails, i leave the game, still keeping the clan symbol attached to my name, and one other friend decided to do that too. So, after a while, a new GpW comes up and gets really big. now i come back. Do u think i really have the right to say "Hey! U took my name of my clan that i dropped when i left JJ2 for a while! Give it Back!" no... so, case closed, it's not ur name http://jazz2.nagcentral.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif. plus, u never copyrighted it or patented it either, so, u don't really have the rights to it.

Sole Assassins sounds better than Soul Assassins, to me. I also haven't seen any active clan known as "SA". As far as I know, someone can go around making a bunch of clans using a lot of initial combinations, and not keep them active. If there's no one to claim it active in time, or if it isn't actively supported, you really can't be stopped from taking it because it happens to be abandoned. Even though clans are unnecessary, it isn't fair for those who believe it is, to not be able to get a name just because it's being denied by an unsupported group who didn't even have any copyright on it (and can never have a copyright on it).
