I can't seem to play online! - Need Help-

I keep getting this same message: "Error connecting to list server"

I'm using the European version 1.24 of Jazz Jackrabbit 2 The Secret Files (NOT the KC Avalon release). Also, I've already installed the "Jazz Jackrabbit 2 list server patch" located here >>> http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/node.php?title=partyModeDownloads

So, what am I doing wrong? I've installed the required list server patch, but I still can't connect. Sorry if I sound like a total n00b, but I've been waiting ages to play online, so any help is much apriciated.

Your firewall/router may be the problem. Have you read <a href="http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?t=9102">this</a> and <a href="http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/node.php?title=proxyServersHelpGuide">this</a>?

See, that's the thing... I'm not using a router or gateway. As for Firewall, I'm using McAfee Personal Firewall, and I already set it to grant JJ2 access to the internet, but that didn't work. Having failed that, I completly disabled and closed ALL my security software (including firewall, anti-spyware, etc.) and tried again. Nothing. Same error message. I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure it out...

It could be that there were just no games listed at the time.

It's alright, I've fixed the problem now. Aparently, McAfee Personal Firewall was "secretly" blocking it, even though I set it to grant JJ2 access to the internet (McAfee can be a (-) sometimes). Thanks for the help guys!
