Well if you can't access it then quite obviously it's dead.

Becuase the game is too old and does not make Epic money.
The first Unreal still makes money because fans of the newer games sometimes like to check a game's roots.

Epic pays the domain for a site about a game that doesn't make them money?

Sadly not. =l

I think there's an archived version of the official website though.

The Daily Carrot, or jazzjackrabbit.com or whatever you want to call it was not the best site. Jazz2City was way better updated and had much more downloads, I was a praud visitor around 1999 (as I wasn't good enough to submit stuff).

Well duh, if we snatch it up and they happen to make another jazz game, they won't have a good domain name.

That is, if they make another Jazz game though. =l

Does anyone know if there is a webarchive that will let me download the levels they had on the old jazzjackrabbit.com ?

I think you don't want to download these. One of the "best" levels was called Operation Clone Killer. Today, it would get something like a 2.5 rating.

Oh, Operation Clone Killer. I remember that, that was actually pretty fun to play. And it got a sequel..

You can probably find them all on Jazz 2 City (http://milesba.com/~jazz2city/heavy.htm), but I can't say that for sure.

Ehy this site is cool. It has many downloads for Jazz2, new and old.
