Okay, anyone who's seen Guilty Gene should already know that the action is placed on Twin MegaBattleShips. With that, the enemies from there need to appear... But Jazz Jackrabbit is comedy-paced and Guilty Gene is not. Therefore, the design needs to be made more evil. Soon I will be introducing Armor Doofis (soon as in the number of pages... I don't know how much time will it take to make them but I'm optimistic as always), so they're the first to get a new design. We're getting to the point. The purpose of this thread is to show you this new design and what I'm begging you for is to tell your thought about it. What needs changing, what should be added/removed etc. Here's the picture:

;D He looks like some kind of cyber-cross between a gladiator and a legionary (sword and shield, right?) Maybe you could give him a shorter sword (because that would suit his shield better, and also the Roman tactic of a solid legionary shield-wall :p ).

You're getting good. DDD=
The design is kind of strange in a way, though... uhm.. and didn't Armor Doofis walk on four feet?

No, because they were holding the sword in one hand and shield in the other. They were just so friggin' bended down.

Oh.. well, I suggest that you make your Doofis bend the same way and give them really badass intimidating armor with huge spikes and stuff. And a smaller head and large, visible muscles.. that would work well, I think.

Wow, someone's been practicing. You're on par with, if not better than, Faw now. Congradulations.
Anyway, CRITICISM TIME! The lines are fairly fluent and not overly sketchy, but it looks like the picture was drawn pretty small. This isn't a bad thing, but if you want to give your drawings a clean, defined look, it's much easier to achieve when they are bigger.
Other than that, the only things that really look wrong to me are his nostrils (at a different angle than his nose) and his feet (look too sketchy and differently shaped) Very good job overall.

Yeah, it is pretty sketchy I agree, I just wanted to show the overall specifics of my design.

It's quite good overall, but I think the feet are too boring. Add a bit more detail there. Perhaps a few rivets or spikes or something on them? At the moment they look to be much shinier and plain then the rest of his armor.

Nice. How inteligent are they?

Low. They're only supposed to follow the orders, which usually are guarding a place or escort. Everything is decided by commanders (radio communication), orders are simple and undeniable. They're pretty much walking shields.
