I've read on another forum, don't ask me which, that the lead guy of Epic Games holds nothing against a "JJ mod using UT2k4 technology".

Are there any plans in this or any other community to make a mod with this or another technology?

I think that Razz arena comes closest to a mod...

There were plans to make a Jazz Jackrabbit mod with UT2004, but interest didn't last long. There is however a Quake 3 mod in progress called Razz Arena (topic (http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showthread.php?t=11263) - website (http://www.razzarena.da.ru/)), which is now stand-alone. I think it's good so far.

Beyond Unreal Forums, yeah. If you read the topic you may notice some of us joined there and tried to get them interested without much success.
My guess is that maybe three people here play UT2K4 anyway, so it wouldn't be the best idea.
