hi everybody,

I have a little question for you....

The formats of the music files that JJ2 accepts are " .j2b, .669, .am, .far, .mod, .xm, .it, .mtm, .ptm, .s3m, .stm and .ult "

Does anyone know a program to switch .OGG files into any format of these?

thnx

You cannot because .ogg files are not tracker files. You could, in theory, convert it to a .wav file and make a tracker file containing just that .wav, but this almost certainly would require too much memory. Tracker files are made up of collections of small sound files (samples) arranged to make music. An .ogg file is just one large sound file though.

you could try to get the orignal tracker files (if they ever existed)

Hi

I want to say that .wav files are not accepted in JJ2 as sound trackes, and eve .MIDI format is not accepted, I could convert it to .wav, but after that I don't have a program even to switch .WAVs to any of the mentioned files..

I hope to find a prog as the files I have are realy fantastic for JJ2

You could use modplug, but as mentioned before, the file size will probably be huge and the sound quality poor.

What would you be able to do with such files, Rock-it Rabbit? There are multiple uses:

1. It's a level to play for yourself and you want nice music to play while playing it. Solution: turn off jj2's music and open up your mp3 player program. Less work than converting it.
2. You like it and want to share it with others along with your level. You'd perhaps even like to upload it to Jazz2Online. Solution: none. Noone will accept a 5 mb zip file for one 5kb level, and the level will be too big to upload to the site.

I want to tell you Fquist that the ogg file is less than 500 kb or something like that, but i was looking forward to kaming everything original and right as possible,

anyway, thanx :)

If it's 500 kb than maybe somehow it's somewhat doable.

Since the file is so small, if you want I could mess with it and see if I can cut it into little peices for a tracker. That sounds like fun.

Of course, 500 kb will be decoded into wav and be 15 MB anyway.
