Okay, imagine you can exchange the original JJ1/JJ2/JJA music for popular music in mp3 format... Now, which songs would you use instead of the old ones to fit the levels better?
Examples to let you catch the groove of this thread:
Letni: Meat Beat Manifesto - "Prime Audio Soup"
Deserto: The Offspring - "Pay The Man"
Attention: Game music, including remixes, DOESN'T COUNT!
(and don't link warez plz)

Yes it did. This thing is what made me stop watching MTV and VIVA. Along with all those other pesky ringtones.
TubeElectric - Two Piece Squirrel / that second song of "When the stuff happened"
Jungle - Israfel / Chrono Trigger (Lesser Kerubik Patchwork OC Remix)
Boss music - Basement Jaxx / Cish Cash (Instrumental)*
*an instrumental version doesn't exist as far as I know, but it would fit very well to a boss fight methinks.

@Fquist: I just wanna say that this guy has a strange last name. I can't help it. Just because it's a synonym for gay doesn't mean it's a bad word. Besides, it's written with two t's, which doesn't even MAKE it the 'other word for gay'.

Gry, you like X Japan? Their song "Forever Love", the ending for X\1999 The Movie is an awesome track.. I've taken a mental note to check out some more of their stuff some time, as I've been kind of into J-pop/J-rock lately.
Anyway, on topic, it's too hard to really name any individual songs. Meh.

Cell, you obviously don't check out forum games-forum all that often. I listen pretty much only to X Japan atm. =) Forever Love is good, but they have plenty of other, even better songs. As for ballads I'd recommend "Tears" for example, which was played at hide's (yes, him in my sig) funeral :'(. Uhm, cool, you know of X Japan and you have a latin quote in your sig - we should be best friends^^
"Queen - I want to break free" is a good song to play jj2 to.

Overall the musics from Jazz1 and Jazz2 are good and fit to their levels. But JazzGBA could use some better tunes. But sorry, I can't come up with non game music that fits to the JazzGBA levels.. :7
