My christmas present to JJ2 community follows as this. It is only a sneak peek; there's much more to this tileset. Coming out very soon :)

It looks great...but the theme is still reminiscent of Islands and Townhouse.

Somewhat easier :) I did keep the user-friendliness in my mind while making this.

Wait, why did someone bury a shovel?

Fawriel

Sexy. =O

There was a cave-in in a mine, and now the upper sediments have been eroded away to almost reveal the shovel.

Huh. Not bad. I was honestly expecting a single 32x32 square of a single color and the text "this is the ground tile".

Fascinating. Reminds me of Worms series even more than Islands.

First impressions : Nice tileset! Blade's last tilesets offer lots of eye candy and are easy to use(except Islands, but I can use it) The screenshot is excellent.

Stop spamming D=
The tileset looks very nice in my opinion. It has nice tiles and the screenshot should reveal that it has lots of eye candy. I wonder what the name will be. It looks like a park. People say the name will be 'Park' Let's find out if it's true.
Better now, R3p?

Oh, I feel I have surpassed Forest with my every new release, but that's me :) I doubt the name will be Park, but time will tell. I haven't decided the name yet. I've been thinking about Park Life (obviously I can't take that name) and Backyard Bounce.

I'll figure out something cool. Something like Islands in the Sapphire Sea. You could use the whole name or shorten the name to 'Islands' and people would still understand what you are talking about.

White Rabbit

Lol..Park? :p Well, at least it would be funny...for a while. I'd name it after a Micro Machines race level. :D

they look okNo they don't. :(

Fawriel
Dec 26, 2005, 11:35 AM
They should be darker, or paler, to blend in better with the background, depending on whether it's night or day... and around the window, a glow effect wouldn't be wrong. But other than that, they are perfectly fine.

Blade
Dec 28, 2005, 11:27 AM
The tileset is now finished with count of 1010 tiles. The single player example level is yet to be made, but that is a task of no problems after designing a tileset from scratch :) The name will include a 'park' part ;) However, the times of simple names like 'Park' and 'Space' are over. Expect something spectacular ;)

At this time I will provide only the original dusk-version of this set.

I claim this page in the name of an awesome tileset.
Dont say Super jazz already claimed it, because he didnt.
Page.
See, nowhere in there did he claim the page.

Yes! It's coming very soon, and I hope it won't disappoint me. The name will also be declared when it will be uploaded.

1010 tiles = 13 animations = :(

theres still an invisible tile :|

CrimiClown
Dec 29, 2005, 09:53 AM
Cooba's right. It could be a problem for the puzzle levels, or just any level where you use loads of triggers.

There's lots of good sets with 1010 or more tiles, and they havent caused problems.

Violet CLM
Dec 29, 2005, 01:52 PM
Well... they have, sometimes. If you want to have almost any trigger scenery at all you start to rack up animations pretty quickly.

not with the invisible tile ;)

Blade
Dec 29, 2005, 08:23 PM
13 tiles for animation space reduces imagination alright. However, the tilecount of 1010 is not there for nothing. I could easily remove 10 tiles from the tileset, but that would instantly make the set harder to use. If I will survive with 13 animation tiles, so will you.

Anyway, let me look to this issue.
