If you're interested in cartooning, then I highly reccomend the book "Draw the looney tunes: the Warner Bros. character design manual".
If you're not interested in cartooning, I still highly reccomend it because it would also look nice collecting dust on your coffee table.
Anyways, I have gotten this book recently for Christmas, and it has changed the way I look at my cartoons. Seriously.
The book is not some cheesy compliation of "How To Draw th' Looney Tunes Gang!-AGAIN!" in which you copy some dude's Bugs Bunny he traced off some DVD/VHS cover. Nay! It's a genuine, bonafide design manual. It starts off with the basics of the Line of Action, and moves on to other concepts. It even has a section on being a clean-up artist(Or I believe so, I was skimming over some pages near the end of the book, and thats what they seemed to be talking about)
Sure this seems like some big ad designed to guzzle the money you may have gotten for Christmas, but it's not. OR MAYBE IT IS.

No. No it's not.

No, I'm the kind of person who expects people to look up books on amazon.com.
